"Imma go find Jared." Shamika smiled hugging me and walking away.

"I know that's the only reason she came to school" I mumbled to myself.

"Huh?" Michael said coming out the car.

"Nothing" I said walking into school.

"Hey wait up" Michael said.

I felt his hand wrap around my waist to slow me down.

"You can't keep on hating me forever. You know I'm not in on this bet, right?"

"Sure" I said as his friends approached us.

"It's mommy and daddy" Jared laughed along with his goons.

"Where's your baby Jared? Did you tell him you went to the store" I said before walking away from them.

The baby gurgled and made some noise.

"Mummy is funny, isn't she?" I smiled tickling her chin. "Uh, I'm talking to a plastic doll now" I scoffed walking to my next lesson.

I sat down near the window and placed the doll on my desk.

"Way to neglect your child" Haley laughed sitting down next to me.

"I can't make her too clingy or she'll grow up to be a snob" I said playing with her blanket tassles.

"My baby loves me. She already laughs" Haley smiled.

"Seriously, all my baby does is gargle like she's got mouth wash in there"

We laughed as the other students came in. I saw Luke walk in with Michael.

"Are you still mad at Luke?" I whispered quickly.

"I forgave him" she said in a hushed whisper as they sat behind us. "Hey Luke"

"How's my baby girl doing?" He asked reaching over and taking the baby away from Haley.

"She's plastic Luke" I said.

"Don't worry baby" Luke said covering her ears. "She didn't mean that."

I rolled my eyes as the teacher started the lesson.

Later in the lesson a school announcement was made.

'ALL PARENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE BABY PROJECT GO TO THE SCHOOL NURSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE PLEASE FOR A CHECK UP'

Some of the students snickered as we got our stuff and headed to the nurse's office.

"What do you think they want?" Michael asked as we walked.

I shrugged and walked a step ahead of him.

Outside of the nurses office there was a line with people holding their babies. Some of them looked annoyed as they tried to get their baby to stop crying.

"Good thing our baby doesn't cry to much" Michael said standing in the queue.

"Umm. Don't say anything until you're stuck with her all night. I went to sleep at 12 and woke up at 6."

"Im sorry baby mama." He laughed.

I straight faced him and looked away, waiting for the line to move along.

"Why won't you talk to me?"

"Because I really want to forgive you, but I feel like I shouldn't" I said.

We were both quiet as the line moved along.

In the nurse's office we gave her our baby and she gave us a replacement.
