Chapter 1: I meet my mate's'

Stella POV

I was so frustrated hearing what my mom and dad has decided for me, they are freaking sending me to another high school!! Just because I failed in arithmetic in the first term,

"C'mon it won't be that bad, Lavit high is like the dream school for most of the students..." my brother Carter said as he took a bite from his apple,

"I don't care if I am going to one of the top famous high school, what I care for is my best friend Claire, I can't even imagine how i'm gonna survive without her...." I said as I dramatically take the apple from his hand and take a bite where he hasn't 'bitten' yet.

"Don't be a drama queen and give my apple back" he said as he snatched the apple back from my hand,

he stared at the bite I just took from the apple in mock disgust.

i just rolled my eyes and went out of my room, deciding to go downstairs and convincing my parents once again,

Carter is my 18 years old brother, he has jet black hair and green eyes inherited from my mother whereas me, I have brown hair and blue eyes from my father.

He isn't like the big brothers in the books and movies who are so protective, loving and caring towards their sister, instead he likes to tease and irritate me so much and we fight very often we aren't really that lovey dovey siblings.

"Daddy!!" I chirped in a high pitch voice as I stepped down the stairs but sigh as soon as I heard my dad "Not gonna work dear..." he said still covering his face with the newspaper he was reading,

I huff again as I just walk into the kitchen and grab some snacks to deal with my depression.

"What happened, dear?" My mom asked

"mom you know why..." I said as I opened a pack of chips, stuffing almost all the chips at once inside my mouth.

"I assure you, you won't regret going there" my mom said trying to cheer me up, but I just gave her a fake chips-full-mouth smile,

she just shook her head with a smile and returned back to stirring what she was cooking.

I just dashed out of the kitchen carrying five more packs of chips, I head directly to my bedroom and threw myself on my bed with the packs of chips under my weight.

I laughed at the crunching sound of the chips inside the packs under my weight, I really like the crunching sound of chips even inside my mouth and outside.

Suddenly my cellphone on my bedside table started vibrating, i picked it up with a grin as soon as i checked the caller ID.

"Hey!" Claire's usual joyful voice was enough for me to lighten my mood.

Claire is my childhood friend, she has jet black hair and hazel nut eyes, we studied together in the same school so getting separated now was gonna be painful for us,

"What's up?" I ask as i stuff more chips inside my mouth again,

"Girl....you gotta stop eating." she replied from the other line,

I just smirked and began chewing on more, i heard her huff so i stopped knowing that she was soon gonna be piss,

"ok ok I am stopping"
  
"Good. oh I had something to tell you"

 "Go on...."

"I am coming with you to Levit high!" She said the last word squealing,

"Oh my god! I am so freaking happy!! But how, All of a sudden?" I asked felling the same amount of excitement.

"I talked to my parents and they agreed!!" She squealed again"I am so happyyy!!!" I squealed back "Me toooo!!!!"

We talked for hours about how our first day would be, finally when it was 11:00 pm we ended the call, and I also decided to sleep as I had to wake up early tomorrow for my first day, With that thought in mind, I drifted off into my sweet dreamland.

The next morning I was awaken by the sound of my alarm clock, groaning I smash the alarm clock on my bed side table.

I woke up from my bed and went directly to the bathroom, after brushing my teeth I took a hot warm shower, then I got dressed into a yellow hoodie, black ripped jeans and my black high top converse with white outlines on it,

I dash downstairs as soon as the smell of my favourite noodles hit my nose, alerting all my taste bud to come alive,

"Good morning" dad said as he casually ate his bowl of cereals,

Carter was sitting beside dad playing a game on his cell phone at the same time eating an almost empty bowl of cereals,

I kick his chair intentionally to annoy him," I died again because of you!" He said glaring at me,

"You should not use cell phone while eating and I don't think you lost because of me but you're skill on the game, Big bro" I said back smirking, emphasizing the last two words, he just groan and continued his 'losing' game,

"Mom, I can smell my feast" I said as I sat down beside Carter,

"I made your favourite noodles to make up for forcing you" mom said as she placed a bowl of noodles in front of me,

"Oh I forgot to tell you something, Claire is coming with me-" After I explained about all my conversation with Claire,

I ate the whole bowl of noodles, then bid them good bye, after leaving our house door I waited for Carter, soon after he came, we were driving towards Lavit high on his Audi R8 which he got on his last birthday when he turned eighteen.

Finally we arrive at our destination after a few minutes drive, Carter parked the car on the parking lot, then we got out.

After some few seconds Claire's car arrived, as soon as she got out from her car

"Stell!" She squealed as she hugged me, I hugged her back, then we went to take our schedule for today.

I was talking with Claire, when suddenly a smell caught my attention, it was like of fresh pine, suddenly another smell caught my attention it was like of cinamon both were mouth watering,

"Stell you alright?" Claire asked shooking me abit,"Oh, ye-yea..." I stammered as I replied because of the affect of the smell on me,

After taking our schedule we had our class together till third period so it wasn't a big deal for us, after the third period during the break,we decided to have a look around the school.

"let's go to the ground area" Claire said with a smile, I nod in return with a smile, as we crossed the running race tracks,

i smelled the same scents again, i started walking with my eyes closed concentrating on the smells,

I wanted to find out what was the thing that was attracting me so much, suddenly I felt the scents going stronger.

I heard Claire called my name but I ignored it, I follow the scents growing stronger and stronger by seconds, but suddenly something hit me on my face so hard that I felt on my butt.

I heard some ''Ooh" from boys and heard Claire shout my name and running towards me, but the scents were very strong suddenly two different huge hands of two different persons hold my wrist of my right hand which I was covering my now bleeding nose.

Then I felt sparks erupting my skin and butterflies fluttering inside my stomach, I shot my eyes open in shock,

and saw two boys who were equaly shocked, staring right into my eyes and suddenly growled "mine!" At the same time.
