Ch.8 The shadow Man

"But you weren't into her right Jay ?" Carlos asks, knowing CJ was a little too young for Jay.

"Oh god no, CJ is 14, she's young plus we just did it to mess with Harry as a joke, she had a crush on Chase Cheshire anyway" Jay points out.

"Didn't she date Zeveon ?" Evie asks.

"It didn't work out , Zeveon just kept talking about Mal when they dated and it completely annoyed CJ so she broke up with him" Jay explains.

"Good for her" Evie smiles.

"Yikes it kills the mood when a guy you date talks about another girl, right Mal ?" Carlos said, turing to Mal.

"Mal ? You okay ?" Carlos asks.

"Uh yeah it's just I mentored little CJ into this fearless girl and I think she still hates me for leaving her on the Isle, I've tried to get her into to Auradon, but she wrote me a letter saying she wanted to sail the seven seas and not be tied down with school or goodies, she just wanted to do that stuff with me" Mal explains sadly remembering two months she went back to the Isle and went to see CJ first.

"CJ can be a little stubborn sometimes she'll come around" Jay said.

"Mal, CJ doesn't hate you, she completely idolized you, she always said you where her Villian, someone she looked up to" Evie said.

"Really becauses she said I was worse than her sister, she completely stood up to me with such fearlessness and basically declared my terrotior to be her's even I was letting her house sit for a year, but the point is she did this to my face and I'm so proud of her, she's the only person with guts to do that and not back down, she's completely fearless" Mal said with a proud smile. "And honestly mean it I'm proud of her" Mal said.

"Actacally Mal, CJ isn't completely fearless... she's afraid of her father casting her out of the Hook family, no one's completely fearless" Evie said, knowing CJ a little too well.

"I know" Mal whispers, as she brings out a little bottle with a tiny ship on it. "Maybe she'll like this" Mal said.

"Maybe" Carols said as they finally come across Dr. Facilier's store.

The four of them enter the shop. As they walk in they notice how empty it is. Mal looks at little sign, that says "open when we feel like it".

"Okay is Dr. Facilier here ?" Mal asks.

"Who's asking ?" Sassed a voice.

Evie looks to see Celia the youngest daughter of Dr. Facilier.

"Hey Celia is your daddy ?" Evie asks gently with a smile.

"Don't you talk to me like I'm a little kid" Celia sassys.

"Okay I'm sorry" Evie said putting her hands up.

"So where's your old man at ?" Jay asks.

"See he gets it !" Celia says. Mal gets giggles now remembering how Sassy Celia is.

"He's in the back" Celia said.

"Thanks" Mal said as they start walking to the back but Celia holds out her hand. Knowing what this meant Mal pulls out some cash and hands it to the girl who smiles.

"Pleasure doing business with you" Ceila smiles.

The core four head into the back of the shop, there they see Dr. Facilier at a table, playing with some cards.

"Come take a set, I been expecting you" Dr. Facilier said with a sinster grin.

"You know what I'm staying in the shop area with Ceila" Jay said as quickly gets out of the room.
