instead of going home, jimin randomly went to an underrated park in seoul with a breathtaking view of the lake by the bridge. he walked towards the bridge, unbothered, with a burrito on his hand. suddenly, he heard soft sobs on a near distance, making him a little bit scared because it was already dark and only a few lamps and the moon shone. jimin gulped and quietly went to the bridge, and saw a guy wearing a black hoodie and sweatpants. he was sitting on the bridge as his legs swung lightly on the air below.

it was not a ghost for jimin, but a crying angel who he wanted to see for weeks.

it's him.

the night was dark, for the moon was still young and the stars were asleep and rare on a gloomy wednesday. yoongi was just there, not moving at all, while covering his face with his hands and sobbing for more than an hour. meanwhile, jimin was standing on a quite far distance from yoongi, looking at him and didn't know what to do. he felt that his heart was broken when he saw yoongi cry.

slowly, jimin approached him and quietly sat beside him with legs crossed. he exhaled deeply and turned to look at yoongi before slowly wrapping his arm around him, pulling him closer. he let yoongi lean on his chest as he continued to sob. jimin rested his chin on top of yoongi's head while rubbing his back comfortingly. "it's alright, hyung. i'm here..."

in a blink of an eye, yoongi harshly pushed jimin away from him. jimin was surprised and tried not to become sensitive in front of him. "h-hyung?"

"no. stop. don't come near me, p-please." yoongi sobbed and shook his head, unable to look at the younger.

"hyung, please tell me what's wrong."

yoongi continued shaking his head and replied, "i don't want you to worry, jimin. please, just leave me alone." hundreds of emotions filled yoongi's body and mind. it wasn't the first time he had a very bad anxiety attack, but for him, this was the worst one he had experienced. jimin tried reaching out for yoongi's hand, but yoongi quickly pulled away which hurt jimin a little bit.

"i-i'm sorry, i"

"stop! why are you like this? huh? why are you so nice to me? you should've ignored me like what my family and friends did!" jimin jumped in shocked when yoongi suddenly yelled at him. "is that the reason? is that reason why you feel sorry for me?"

jimin was taken aback, "hyung, that's not what you think it is!"

the older chuckled with no emotion at all. "you must think i'm weird, right? that's the first word they said whenever they are asked to describe me and did you know? i was very hurt." yoongi sniffed and looked at the moon that almost touched the ocean. jimin stayed silent and didn't want to make it worse, so he continued to listen. "i was miserable since i was little. my parents never support me on what i do, my friends left me because i'm not the person they want me to be, and i have no one beside me. i only join in underground rap battles to earn money for myself and one time, when i turned twelve, my grandmother found me."

"unlike my parents, she was the most kindhearted person that i've ever met. she let me stay in her house for a couple of years. she was the one who made me finish my education and take care of me. i was very happy when i was with her because... she made me feel like i'm home." yoongi weakly smiled and exhaled.
