"Richard, I'll take then inside, sit them down, get them comfortable, yeah?" Crash asked.
"Thank you." Richard responded. "That'd be helpful."
"No problem, DeMeko, help me out here." Crash said as DeMeko followed him along with Mike, Max, Travis, and Ethan.
"Adalyn, thank you for coming along with me on this trip." Richard said as he held his hand out for a shake. "You and your father did good finding those people for us."
Adalyn shook Richard's hand. "You're welcome, Richard." She replied very nicely.
"You are able to go home now, I'll take care of things from here." Richard said politely.
Adalyn nodded and then walked over to her father and the pair headed home for the night. Then the truck stopped behind the van and Lonnie hopped out of the bed of it.
"Tell me what the he happened here Lonnie." Richard demanded immediately.
Charlie and Abraham stayed to hear Lonnie out... Lonnie took a long, deep breath.
"Alright, please don't shoot me. I'm just the messenger." Lonnie begged of them. Long story short, Zeke and Benji, they're dead."
"What?!" Richard freaked out. "How the hell does that happen!?"
"They attacked a boy!" Lonnie cried. "I forgot his name, he came with the two of you." Lonnie stated directly to Abraham and Charlie. "Anyways, he got away from them but they were crazy, and I mean CR-A-ZY." Lonnie looked all around at Abraham, then to Charlie, and finally back to Richard, all three men dumbfounded. "When we put them down... Or at least we thought we put them down, Benji somehow came back to and shot a woman, she came with the two of you as well, she died... She got shot right in front of her husband and right next to her two little boys." Lonnie had tests streaming down his face.
"You mean Heather?" Abraham asked quickly.
"I think that was her name." Lonnie whimpered as he sucked his snot back into his nose from crying too much.
"Son of a bitch." Abraham said under his breath. "Where's Donny?"
"Who?" Lonnie asked.
"The husband!" Charlie shouted. "Where is he!?"
"Digging a grave for his wife,l with Martin. " Lonnie said as he began crying again. "Poor man... poor boys ."
"Abe, Charlie." Richard looked to them. "Donny, he's your friend."
"He's family." Charlie told him.
"I suppose he'd have to be." Richard said to him. "Come with me, he'll be wanting family." Then he walked off leaving Lonnie outside the Town Hall alone, Abraham and Charlie following behind him.
"So what kind of people you got living here, Rich?" Abraham asked angrily as they were walking.
Richard remained calm about it all, "I didn't know they'd be capable of such awful stunts." He turned a corner and looked down the road to see Donny alone digging a hole, a hole big enough for a human being. Richard walked towards Donny, sho turned to see him, Abraham, and Charlie.
"Oh, hey." Donny said as he sat down in the dirt. "Welcome back."
"I'm sorry, Donny." Richard began with.
"Don't apologize to me." Donny told him. "I don't need to hear anything about it. Not right now. Not while her body is still above ground and not while I'm standing here digging her grave alone!" He yelled angrily.
"Alright, I'm sorry." Richard told him. "I am, I can help you, if you'd like?"
"No." Donny told him. "Just leave me alone."
