chapter #1

                             Zara

It was my 21st Birthday, wow I'm over 20 now! My family ; my sister and my father, we live in islamabad. after my mothers death we shifted here from Karachi, my dad had a car accident a year ago after that he's on a complete wheelchair rest, but he's recovering however I came back from my office, when I entered the house all the lights were off as there was really dark in there and soon the lights turned on and my father and sister shouted "happy birthday Zara"
Which completely made me shock because I wasn't expecting that well there was my Daadi (grandmother) and my cousin Asim as well I gave a tight hug to baba and cut the cake with them, after eating the came my father said "arey gift Dena to bhool gaya main" (oh, I forgot to give you your present) my dad just got up from the wheelchair a took a few steps my eyes were filled with tears as I saw my father walk in front of me again! I ran to him and gave him a tight hug

and said "Baba, this is the best birthday gift ever! I love you!" My father is like my best Friend. Someone with whom I share everything! As on the other side my sister Zunaisha is someone who really understands me legit keeps saying "Jo larka tumse shaadi karega wo to Bass barbaad hojaye ga!" And I kinda agreed that too! After cutting the cake I went to my room to sleep because I have RESPONSIBILITY'S *eye rolls*

                      The next day

*Phone rings* I picked up the phone while I was sleeping In my bed, it was my bff Maira's phone call and I yelled at her "ITS A GOD DAMN SUNDAY TODAY! LET ME SLEEP! " and then she shouted

"DATE PAKKI HOGAYI YAARA!"which made me get up from my bed " date pakki hogai? Ye kab hua?" I said

"Arey abhi kuch dair pehley hi hua yaar! 25th july is the day! Your girl is finally getting married!" Maira said

"Well Congratulations Maira! I'm so happy for you but don't you think that's too early!? Only 1 and a half month?" I said

" yes! I know! Just come here! I want you to stay with me for these 2 months!" Said maira

"Its hard but I'll try !!"i Said

                             Hamza

I came back to pakistan from Dubai because of some business problems there, but now they are solved, then I received a phone call, of my childhood bff Ahmed!!
"Ahmed!!" I Said

"Haan Bhai, sab pakka hogaya!" Said Ahmed.

I jumped from excitement and said "congratulations bro! Date to batao!"

"25th July! And I want you here in a week!" Said Ahmed

"Woah now that's hard, anyways I'll still try tho!" I said

I reached home and as always Dad was busy reading  newspapers, maa was busy watching TV shows on HumTv (Pakistani dramas though uhh)

Maa! I said

Don't disturb me! Yakeen ka safar ka last episode hai pata nai Zubia kya kahegi Asfandyar se said maa

*I eye rolled*
"Maa I'm really hungry please let's have dinner! Baad main dekhlena ye please" I said

"Okay then! I'll watch my show later!" Chalen Afaaq!! Said mom

While eating dinner

"Are you going to Canada tomorrow again Afaaq?" Mom said while staring at dad

"Yeah! Its important!" Said dad in a really tired voice

"Kab tak is tarha itna travel karte rahengy? Its not good for you and uper sy your heart!!" Said mom while being worried about dad

"Hahaha don't worry I'm a businessman and I have Responsibility's" Said dad with a fake smile on his face

mom stood up from the dinning table's chair and yelled at me "Hamza!? Kab tak? When will you do something which makes us proud? Meeting a client or visiting to Dubai or London once in 2 months doesn't mean you have made us proud or finished our problems! Your dad is a heart patient! Think about that! This is such a shame!" And walked away in her room with her blood boiling

"Aray kya hogaya hai? Us pe gussa mat nikalo!! Its not his fault Mariam!" Said Dad while being really worried

I kinda felt that, I realised that I'm such a shame to my family, now its time to do something for them.

I walked to moms room *cough cough*

Mom ; turns face around

"Mom, I'm sorry, I've realized that I'm such a shame to you and dad" I said.

Mom turned her face to me in seconds and put her hands on my face and said " no beta! your not a shame to us at all in fact I'm proud of you that you've completed your studies and did so much hard work to touch this point of life! But you have to understand that you have Responsibility's as well! Your father has spent his whole life to touch this point of his life, to make a better future for you and your sister! Now its your turn, to make the rest of your dads life better, Meri baat ko samjho :)" said mom with a smile on her face I smiled back at her

she hugged me and I went to my room..
