My Little Girl... Is Not So Little Anymore

Start from the beginning

Coming at the beach, Ann saw her father standing and watching the ships. "Dad, is everything alright?" "Not really. Those ships seemed to have turned our way, but now they are leaving again." Steve pinched his eyes at the strange event. "This was probably the wrong island they had to be, I suppose. Did any ship seem to be of a threat to you?" Ann asked her father to be sure. "No, not really, but I will keep an eye out for those same ships."

As they turned around to head back to the village, there was a faint scream coming from the ship. "Hey dad, did you hear that?" Ann froze in her track and looked back. "Hear what, sweetheart?" Steve asked baffled. "It was like someone yelled for 'Father'..." She doubted if she heard it correctly. "I didn't hear it, are you sure you heard that?" Steve walked back to his daughter and held her hands in his. Ann thought again, but now she wasn't certain about it anymore. "Come, let's go home." Looking back once more, Ann followed her father back home.

It was the next day that Viggo came back to Muzona. "Viggo, we are so happy to see you here." Jake almost jumped in his arms as he was thrilled to see him again. "Okay Jake, it's alright now. Where is.." "Follow me!" "Woah, Jake not so fast!" Viggo had to follow Jake who sprinted off to get to Ann. "Last who is to Ann will be a forever loser!" Jake made a game out of it. "Hey, that's not fair! You know where she is!" Viggo laughed out as he still chased Jake down.

When they got to Ann's house, they were both panting badly. "Loser." Jake breathed out. "You cheated there. You were not playing fair against me." Viggo had to catch his breath as Ann stepped up to them. "He cheated in what?" Viggo looked up to see her standing with crossed arms leaning against one of the walls. "He challenged me to a race to get to you, while I even didn't know you were here." Ann laughed at this. "Ow, sweetie, he is just mocking with you." She rubbed his cheek as he held his hands on her waist.

"I missed you." Viggo said and a deep kiss followed. "Where were you?" Ann panted out when they let go. "Krogan and I had our disagreements in the last few days. Wouldn't let me go back to you here and pick you up. But now that I'm here, I wish to spend some time with you and our son before I have to face that man again." Viggo cuddled up with his lover.

A few days had passed and the strange ships have been spotted a few more times again. Steve had gotten more suspicious every time the ships had showed up. Viggo and Ann had plenty of time to catch up with each other and spend some time together with their son, but someone didn't feel well. Havòk. He just wanted to know where she was. His little girl. He was hoping she would find the island and be reunited with her after so many years. The more time went by, the more depressed he got, thinking she would not come at all.

The morning went by fast and the afternoon was close to its ending as Viggo and Ann were still relaxing on the beach with their little boy when a strange girl, about the age of sixteen walked up to them. "Hello. Ehm, is this the island of Muzona?" She asked shyly. "That's correct." Ann stood up and greeted the blond haired girl with a handshake. "How can I help you?" "I am Frigg. I am looking for a man called Havòk. Do you know him?" She asked. "Yes, I do know him. In fact, he is my best friend. I'll show you around and get you to him." Ann led the way towards the village.

"Wow, this is a really beautiful place." Frigg wondered about the island. "Thank you. I know that if you decide to stay here with Havòk, you would love everything this island has to offer." Ann said enthusiastic while walking ahead.

"Wait. You want me to stay already?" Frigg froze in her movements. Ann looked back smiling at her. "It is not up to me to decide whether you stay here with him or leave again. That is up to you, but know that Muzona will always welcome you with open arms." Frigg had to think about that before she shyly thanked Ann. "Come. Night is almost falling. I know Havòk is at the same place until the sun sets. After then, he is not easy to be found. He has been thinking about you a lot in the last few days and hoped to see you."

They walked on to the place where Havòk was commonly found, the place where Ann also would like to build her house in the future. The lookout hill. Walking up the hill, Ann could already see him stare out to the ocean. They shared the favorite spot together. "Hey, Havòk. There is someone who would like to meet you. And I'm sure you would like to meet her." Ann said as she walked up to him.

Havòk turned around to face them and his eyes went wide. He barely got any words out of his mouth and those which did were faint and soft. "Frigg?" "Yes?"

Step by step, small ones, he came closer to her and reached out his hand to gently hold her by the chin with tears in his eyes. He looked in her eyes when he spoke words in relief. "Look how much you have grown. My little girl is not little anymore. She has become a fine young lady."

Frigg first took a step back, but when she realized the love in Havòk's eyes, she knew he was her father. She dived into his arms and got the most loving hug they both had in such a long time. "Daddy!" "You look so much like your mother. Just a beautiful and precious woman." He said as he stroke through her hair.

As they had a moment to be together, Viggo came walking up to Ann. "Who is that?" He asked her. "That is his daughter." Ann leaned into him so he would take her in his arms. Viggo gasped, but was happy for Havòk that he had found his only daughter again. Soon, Ann cleared her throat. "Havòk, maybe it is time to have dinner together?" "Yes, I think we would both love that, don't we?" He asked Frigg who nodded with full commitment.

During dinner, Frigg and Havòk had a lot to talk about from the last thirteen years. And so, a hard topic came to discussion to both of them. "But Frigg, what about your mother? Did she never talk about me or something?" "No, she hated you for as long as I can remember. She even didn't want me to talk about you in the first months that you were gone." Frigg held back a little not to break her father's heart.

"Ow. That's... Tough to hear that." Havòk was dissappointed and upset about it. "I'm sorry, daddy." Frigg held him in a hug again. "It's okay, sweetie. I'm glad she let you come to seek for me anyway." He locked eyes with her the moment she let go of him. "Well... She didn't quite." Frigg looked away from him. "What do you mean, Friggy?" Havòk looked at her with a frown.

"She passed away last year. I found mom's diary and read what she wrote about you. It was all sad, depressing and angry. All the fury she wrote about you felt wrong. It was all about a lie?" Frigg asked and that brought back bad memories to Havòk.

"Yes, I can understand she hated me for that. But believe me, darling, I didn't do anything that lie tells. Someone just had a prick on me and wanted me gone from our home. Phuh, with success." He retorted. "I didn't want to hurt you, daddy." She came back to hug him. "It is okay, Friggy." Havòk kissed her forehead to reassure her.

"I believe both of you are getting the need to rest. Go home. We will clean up here." Ann told them. "Thanks, Ann." Father and daughter stood up to go back to Havòk's hut.
