EPIC FAIL. I was never in there when she actually cooked. I wish I would've been now.

"Looks like somebody needs some help." I turned around to see Blake standing at the island with her hair pulled into a messy bun with an oversized t-shirt on.

I smacked my lips. "Pshhht , I got it."

"Ok then Mr.Macho. I'll sit here and watch."

She propped her hands up and rested her chin in them. She looked like a little kid attentively watching what was in front of them. I rolled my eyes.

"Man where the bowls at ?", i asked her.

She pointed at a cabinet behind me. I turned around and opened the door grabbing a medium sized mixing bowl. I placed it on the counter and opened the carton of eggs. I pulled out 4 eggs and cracked
them into the bowl. Blake clapped in applause behind me. I looked over my shoulder and laughed at her.

"Quit tryna play me ma. I got this."

"Ok papi."

I poured a splash of milk into the eggs (makes your eggs fluffy) and looked around for a fork.

"That drawer to your right babe", she said pointing.

I opened the drawer grabbing a fork. I beat the eggs and milk in bowl until I was satisfied. I opened the drawer again grabbing a knife to cut the butter. I was coming down on the butter when I felt two arms wrap around my waist.

"Babe just let me help. It'll go quicker and then we can busy ourselves with...umm...other things."

I raised a brow considering her little proposal.

"Aight , just this time though."

She unwrapped her arms and went to work. I only cooked the eggs because by the time I was finished she'd done cooked the turkey bacon and toast. We sat at the island and started eating our breakfast in a comfortable silence.

"Let's listen to the radio babe. See what
news is going on", she said hopping up walking
over to the radio on the counter.

"Ok."

The radio blared breaking the silence the room once held.

"Yo wassup this Charlamagne the God and were back from the break and you know what time it is.....drum roll angela , envy please."

*patting on the desk"

"Gossip of the day", they sang together.

"Ok ok , so last night im sure everyone tuned in to watch Chazz fine ass on WBGT last night right?!"

"I missed it. My ole lady was trippin", Ebro chimed.

"I watched it. I got a definite girl crush on her. Chazz boo if ya listening please slide through the studio", Angela said.

"I've never seen a News outlet engage in celebrity gossip as a headlining story ,but in this day and age I'm not surprised. So last night WBGT reported a story about Dave East's rumored boo. I'm sure you guys have seen them photo'd together recently a few times."
