Captain Babysitter

"Tch, no chance that I'm taking care of the annoying brat! Let his friends do it, and since he's a kid, he might be even more annoying" I argued.

"Oh let me show him to you," she said. I followed her to a bed where a kid was lying asleep.

"Eren." She shook him. "Eren, wake up"

"Ughh..." he groaned. After he had fully awoken, he sat up, his emerald green eyes locking with mine.

"Dr. Zoë, who's this?" he asked confused.

"Oh this? This is Captain Levi! He's humanity's strongest soldier. Don't ya remember?" she said.

Of course he doesn't. Unless he knew me when he was a kid.

"Nah, I don't remember.." he yawned uninterested.

"Now, you see, he will be your babysitter! Great, right?" she exclaimed.

"I don't need any babysitter! I'm nine!" he yelled.

Wow, how annoying. And the brat was nine.

"Listen Eren, I will be busy making a cure and retry making the poison I was attempting to make so you need at least a...parent," Hanji said.

"A...poison? What?" Eren mumbled.

"Ugh, go ahead already four-eyes... I'll take care of him." I gave in before she had to tell him what had happened.

What the hell, did I just say that?

"Good! Go and make sure he has fun with the others too!" she said before she ran off.

"I don't need a babysitter..." Eren whispered.

"Shut it brat. Now tell me, what do you want to do?" I asked annoyed.

"Mm, well.....maybe that you can leave and stop being my god-father," he mumbled.

"That's exactly what I want, but shitty-glasses is working on some of her deadly projects which will kill us all one day," I responded, not caring about the fact that he was just a kid.

"At least you're not talking with a baby voice and use lovely parent talk," he shrugged.

"Let's go," I said. We walked in the halls until we reached the dining hall.

Mikasa and I made eye contact, and I already knew what her question was.

"Did that glasses-beast release Eren from her cave?" she asked. I hesitated to answer and she looked down and....noticed Eren.

"Oh God..." she whispered and took a closer look.

"Armin....come here," she stated. The others didn't understand, probably because they haven't seen child Eren before.

"What the actual sea book..." Armin mumbled.

"Don't talk about books now! What the hell did that demonic cave goat do to him!" she growled.

"Who's that?" Jean asked.

"It's.....Eren," Armin said.
