She stumbled down the stairs, with her coordination off, she almost tripped before catching herself again. She then opened the fridge, her automail hand shaking and grabbed the milk, almost dropping it in the process. Then cereal, and a bowl.

"Here, (Y/n), let me help y-" Winrys hand was slapped away with her palm, as she poured the cereal, making a mess of the counter first. Then the milk, having some of it spill onto the counter.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Ed picked her up the collar, holding her against the fridge as her head dropped down to face the ground.

"Help." She murmured, almost unheard. Everyone drew their attention over to her, her stone cold voice cutting like knives. She pushed onto Ed's hand, causing him to jump back and her to be freed. Then, she walked out of the house.

"Her father died while you went to Dublith. Her mother sold her off to the military for money, then she just.... vanished." Winry pauses, tears in her eyes. "She was a human weapon." Ed walked over to calm Winry down, pulling her into a hug as she cried on his real shoulder.

That's when the armored boy realized, that

he had to help his friend.

Roy Mustang

It was a normal day in Central, paperwork, jokes, miniskirts, until he stumbled onto an alleyway.

He saw alchemic sparks flying from it. So, he rushed over and put on his ignition glove, then sneakily crept around the corner.

"Come on, we where just finishing up!" A man, sounding quite older than he is, spoke.

"I don't want to hear that shit, I saw what you where up to! Tell your 'crew' not to be kidnapping innocent women!" A voice spoke, it was a woman, who sounds about the same age as he is. He slowly peaked around the corner, the man had stone cuffs attacking to the wall from alchemy, and the woman... he could only describe as beautiful. Her hair framing around her, her stunning (e/c) eyes reflecting in the moonlight.

Not to mention, she was pretty badass.

"Who's here?" Roy heard her voice, as footsteps crept around the corner. He met her eyes, before he got lost in them.

But, she kicked him in the shin and pinned his arm behind his back, pushing him against the wall.

"Who the hell are you? Are you with him?" He was baffled, almost lost for words. But, he would probably have to speak up if he didn't want to die.

"Colonel Roy Mustang. I work with the military. I heard something so I came to investigate." He said, a bit nervously. She let him go and sighed.

"One of those military dogs, huh? Great. Just what I needed. Can you at least help me take this guy to the police? It's a few blocks down." She said, putting on a pair of black gloves.

"Sure. But I think your guy is getting awa-" Roy was cut off by her running and putting her hand over the guys mouth. Within seconds, he dropped to the floor, unconscious.

"I made sure it only held for an hour." She said, picking up the man slowly. "So, are you going to help or just stand there?"

"R-Right." Roy picked up his legs, walking backwards. He looked at her, she was wearing all black, black jeans and a black t-shirt, which isn't suited for this weather.

"S-So, what type of alchemy do you specialize in?" He said, tying to start a conversation.

"I work with types of gases, like simply knocking someone out to killing someone, but I don't use it to often. I can made types of explosives, but only under types of heat. And I can use basic alchemy." She said, as she walked forward.

"Lucky for you, I'm the Flame Alchemist. And you could join the military, we could work alongside each other." He said, with a sly smirk on his face, she chuckled.

"I've heard of you! You're the guy who's with Christmas." She said, laughing a bit about everything she knows about him, embarrassing and all. "I work with a different bar across the city, we usually give each other costumers."

"I guess it was fate." He joked, trying to stay cautious of what he said.

"Well, stop by whenever. Someone with Christmas is always a friend of mine. But don't bring too many people too late. I have a kid."

His spirits dropped. She's already with someone?

"What's with that look of defeat?" She joked, looking at him.

"Who's the father?"

"A deadbeat. He left before he was born. I haven't seen that asshole since." She said, rolling her eyes. "Did you want to get with me or something?"

His face went slightly red. "M-Maybe." He said.

"I'll give you a shot. Here." She handed her her business card, with her address, phone number, and name.

"(Y/n) (L/n)...." He murmured, looking at the card.

"Yep. Now we're here." She said, pointing at the police station.

At that point, she did all the talking. Telling them who he was, what he did, and turned him in.

She walked back out, next to Mustang. "Well, I guess it's goodbye for now. See ya, Roy Mustang." She smirked, as she walked away from view.

Riza Hawkeye (Modern)

Riza Hawkeye was strolling through the streets of central walking Black Hayate. Until she felt herself being yelled for.

"Riza!" She heard Rebecca, an old friend yell from the other side of the street, she jumped a bit.

"Nice to see you, Rebecca." She said, as she waited for Rebecca to run across the street to hug her.

"I just met someone who'd be perfect for you! I met them while coming here a while ago, and they seem super nice!" She said, eagerly ready to show her to them.

"I already told you, I'm not looking for a relationship." Riza chuckled, letting herself loosen up from her usual stiff self.

"But, I already gave her your number~" She said, smirking.

"What if she was a murder, Becca? What would happen then?" Riza said, quickly checking her phone.

"Then you'll get killed last!" Riza felt her phone bing. It was a text. "Let me see!"

Number: 123-420-6969

Hello, I'm (Y/n). I think your friend gave her your number. You can delete it if you want.

"Say something!!" Rebecca said, jumping up and down.

Riza: It's ok. She probably has good judgement.

She got a notification right away.

(Y/n): Well, if she does then do you want to meet up for coffee on Sunday?

Riza felt herself jump. How can she be so forward?

Riza: Sounds like a date.
