"At least I offer an insurance." Grumbled Beca while Lou laughed and deserted her seat,"This is absolutely bullocks."

"Stop being a child and gather your shit up!"

"Then what? Mend it with some glue?"

"Why not?"

"What a dick."

She hated to talk about her shit, but she knew at some point she had to fix herself. Isabella would be so disappointed with her, pretty sure her mother was too, she had to fix herself. But she's a mess even finding the stsrting line is hard.

Her head snapped sharply when three knocks came from the door. She frowned, she was expecting no one, Bo and Tamsin came by just last week (mind you, they absolutely adored Sophie) and Chloe didn't mention of anyone.

Making her way to the door, she picked up a few clutter from the floor and dropped it on the bin next to the door. Whipping her sweaty hands over her skinny jeans, she opened and the door and froze.

She was greeted by a smile. It was soft and polite. Aubrey was clutchin the strap of her bag tightly, as if she was nervous to see Beca too, or was she excited? Beca doesn't know. She was scared.

Before she knew it, she had slammed the door and was pacing the living room.

"What is she doing here?" She chanted, hands on her mouth, eyes scared, breathing fast and out of phase.

People really have to stop just showing up out of no where.

She didn't really care about leaving Aubrey outside of the door after slamming it shut pretty loudly. Actually... She cared, but that doesn't matter right now, she's confused. It was like seeing a ghost from your past.

She'd probably die if her mother showed up.

"Hi Beca." Aubrey said, looking a bit confused but nontheless relieved after Beca opened the door again.

After five minutes.

Of being outside.

Just listening...

Beca was mumbling pretty loudly.

"Aubrey." It was kind of a breathy greeting.

First all of, she was confused, Aubrey's in New York, in front of her, and there's no violent reactions yet. Second of all, Aubrey is in front of her. In New York. Looking expectant. Third of all, in all honesty, Beca doesn't know how to feel exactly on this situation, Aubrey left with Sophia when everything went to shit and she and Beca barely had time to talk about ending stuff. Aubrey just left. So did Beca.

"Aren't you letting me in?" Aubrey inquired Beca, a sign of quiver in her voice.

"Chloe isn't here at the moment,"Beca opened the door widely, turnung around to let Aubrey in and close the door,"Unfortunately," She munbled under her breath.

"I'm actually told you'll be here alone." Aubrey looked around the small apartment,"I'm sorry for giving you no choice on this one."

"Seemed like my life for the past five years or so, but go on." Beca sarcastically replied when she went straight to the kitchen.

Aubrey gave her a confused look.

"Life's taken all control on my life and left me with absolutely no choice."

"Weak people say that." Aubrey frowned at what she said but didn't withdraw them.

Beca stopped and stared at the girl, eyes conflicting in emotion, but a soft smile came to her face and she chuckled,"Looks like I'm weak."
