Gypsy Girl

(Y/N): RUN!

A roar was heard and you saw Ghira flying into the battlefield with an Ursa on his back. He landed and caused a small shockwave under his feet.

Ghira: (Y/N)...take it!

You leapt over Ghira and used your anger to grab the Ursa, tear it in half and throw it at the oncoming Grimm. You leapt forward and kicked the Ursa parts forward and backflipped to land before Ghira and the gypsy girl. You fired rounds from your sword/rifle and shot more Grimm. Rounds from far also hit some incoming Grimm. You and Ghira glanced over and saw Sienna was covering you two.

You also saw that the gypsy girl was throwing more knives to cover you and Ghira. You and Ghira nodded at one another and ran forward. You both hacked and slashed at the Grimm and the gypsy girl followed you forward. As you attack, you saw a Beowolf pounce behind the gypsy.

(Y/N): Look out!

You dashed forward and pushed the girl out of the way only to get slashed in the back.

Gypsy Girl: No!

The gypsy threw a knife and killed the Grimm. More guns shots went off and various Grimm were killed.

Caravan Leader: More people! We're saved!

You looked over to see Farkas and Lupo leading the White Fang into battle and defended the convoy. The leader stepped down along with other caravan members and gypsies. Some ran over to the girl that you helped to make sure she was ok. Your aura took the bulk of the damage so you were fine. Ghira walked over to the Caravan Leader.

Fern: Greetings! I am Fern! Leader of the Midland Traveling Entertainers! I thank you-uh-

Ghira: Ghira. Ghira Belladonna.

Fern: Well, if there is anything you need-

Ghira: Perhaps medical supplies for my friend. And...company for tonight.

Fern: That, I can do!

Fern clapped his hands and the convoy sprung into action to prepare for tonight. The entertainers had prepared food and dances for you and your companions within the White Fang. You were with Ghira and Fern discussing the nature of the Fang and their mission.

Fern: Uh, that is a noble cause for certain.

Ghira: So, will you help us?

Fern: I may spread the word of your mission, but I cannot speak for my crew. Besides, I got business to run and I cant lose this talent.

(Y/N): You're kidding me right? Did you see that one girl. She's a natural.

Fern: She's a gypsy. They're usually like that with knives.

You and Ghira look at one another with some disappointment.

Fern: Look, uh, you can ask a few, but I need to make ends meat and I can't lose everyone. As I said before, I will gladly spread your message, but my Faunus companions are not an army for hire. I've said my piece, now go ask them. Hope you enjoy tonight's entertainment. I know I will.

Fern laughed and walked off. You and Ghira glanced at one another.

(Y/N): That's just stupid.

Ghira: Not in the long run. We can't control everyone. Besides, getting word around is enough for me.

(Y/N): Understood, sir.

Ghira: (Y/N), how many times do I have to say it? Please. Not every time we see one another has to be about military or orders. Enjoy tonight. You've earned it.

(Y/N): I...ok...Ghira.

Ghira nodded and gave you a smile before walking off. You glanced around and saw Farkas and Lupo sitting near the large fire the entertainers had started for their show. You walked on over and sat down beside Lupo.

Farkas: Hey, hey, hey! It's the beast boy himself!

(Y/N): Yeah, yeah.

You sat down besides them. Across from you all, a few gypsies were standing off to the side. The one you save turns and glances back towards you, a small blush on her face.

Evie: Kali? Is that the guy who helped save you?

Kali: Uh? Oh, y-yeah.

Evie: You know what that means?

Kali: No! Eve! Don't do that!

Amethyst: Why not? You did it for us a few times. We got to do it for you too!

Kali: It's embarrassing.

Evie: All the more reason to do it! Let's go girls!

You were having a small bit of a drink as you were in some form of deep thought. However, you were brought out by Sienna hitting the back of your head.

(Y/N): OW! What?!

Sienna: That gypsy you saved is up. It would be polite for you to watch.

(Y/N): Since when did you care?

Sienna: I don't. But she cares about you for whatever the reason and these gypsies are all Faunus with knife skills. We could use them.

(Y/N): Always a war with you, isn't it, Sienna?

Sienna scoffed you off and began to watch the gypsies. You rolled your eyes and began to watch as well. That's when you saw her. The same cat Faunus you saved earlier that day. She was even more gorgeous now than ever before. You didn't notice this until later, but she was keeping particular close to you and your general area. Finally, most of the gypsies offered dances to anyone who wanted one.

Farkas and Lupo got behind you and both put a hand on each shoulder.

Farkas: She wants you, (L/N).

(Y/N): Wh-What? No! I mean, look at her! She's too high end.

Lupo: Shut up and go.

Farkas and Lupo shoved you out into the circle. You stopped just before the cat Faunus who looked at you and gave you a light smile. You nodded and she took your hand with hers and began to swing around the fire.

Kali: So...what's your name?

(Y/N): (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N). And you?

Kali: Kali. Just Kali. Only thing they found me with.

(Y/N): Sorry to hear that.

Kali: Don't be. So...White Fang? I heard your leader and Fern. Revolutionaries.

(Y/N): For the most part right now. Peaceful, of course.

Kali: So...are you going to take me with you.

(Y/N): That all depends if you want to come with us.

Kali: And if I do? Do I get to be your partner?

(Y/N): You're going to have to work up the ranks for that one.

Kali: I never meant field partner.

A blushed formed on your face.

(Y/N): That...could be arranged.

Kali: So, I guess I'm coming along then.

(Y/N): Nice to have you on board, Gypsy Girl.

Kali: Likewise, Beast.
