Nan Hee's POV

⏪Flashback, 7 years ago.

New year means a new chance to live your life better than you did in the past. It's been 8 months since Jin and I tried if our feelings would work. Though we've been having some arguements, we find a way to settle each and still manage to be okay. We still have a long way to go. It may be difficult for us now but I know, someday, we'll be happy, together.

My mom woke me and she was shaking.

Nan Hee: Waeyo, eomma? Are you okay?

Mom: It's Yoongi.

Nan Hee: Have they found him?

It's been days since Yoongi oppa was missing. We filed a report to the police but they couldn't find him.

Mom: His mom called. He's at the hospital now.

I feel like a bucket of ice-cold water wad splashed on me.

Nan Hee: We have to go and see him, mom.

My dad took us to the hospital. I saw my aunt crying outside the emergency room.

Auntie: Sweetie, thank goodness you're here.

Nan Hee: What happened to him, auntie?

Auntie: This morning, while I was about to water my plants, I saw him near the gate. He had wounds and he was soaked in his own blood.

Nan Hee: Have the police found those who did this to him?

Auntie: They haven't. But Yoongi kept on uttering something.

Nan Hee: What is it, auntie?

Auntie: He was constantly saying that you should be careful. No matter what he said that you should be strong.

That has just given me a great confussion. Why do I suddenly have to be careful?

Auntie, mom and I are at his room waiting for him to wake up. Then I got a call from Jin.

Jin: Where are you?

Nan Hee: Hospital.

Jin: Wae?

Nan Hee: Yoongi oppa was rushed to the emergency room. His mom found him and he has wounds on his body. Oppa needs to have blood transfusion at the moment since he lost so much blood.

Jin: Wait for me okay? I'll stay with you there.

Nan Hee: Arasseo.

Jin: Then let's eat somewhere.

An hour passed but there's still no Jin.

Nan Hee: Auntie, I'll just go outside for some fresh air.

I left my stuff at the room and went outside the hospital. Jin wasn't answering my calls and even my messages. I was worried at the moment when a car stopped infront of me. Body guards and a mid-aged woman hopped out of it.

Woman: You must be Miss Noh Nan Hee.

Nan Hee: Ne.

Woman: Come with us. Someone's waiting for you.

I was about to say no when they forced me to enter the car. The mid-aged woman seems to be talking to someone on her phone.

Woman: We found her, Ma'am.... Yes... In a few minutes, we'll be there... Yes.

Nan Hee: Let me go!

Woman: Not until Madame Kim sees you.

We arrived at a mansion and they dragged me off the car and onto a room.
