EPILOGUE

He strive so hard through the past years. He's on the verge of giving up, but the thought that his Love will not like it--

Naabala lang siya ng tumunog ang cellphone niya. He sighs before he took it.

He doesn't bother looking who's the caller.

"Hello?"

"S-sir..." He impatiently tap his fingers in his table.

"What?" As cold as ice, he replied.

"M-may babae ho kasing naghahanap sa inyo. Sabi niya po e-eh a-asawa niyo daw po."

His forehead immediately creased.

Kelan pa siya kinasal? "Hmm. Did you let her in?"

"Hindi po. Papasukin ko po ba?"

A chuckle escape in his mouth.

"S-sir?" Takang tanong ng nasa kabilang linya.

"Don't let her in." He sternly said.

"Masusunod po." Then the line ended.

Naiinis na sinabunutan ni Mégane ang sarili niyang buhok. Kakasabi lang ng maid na hindi siya pwedeng pumasok.

"Argh! Wala akong choice! Pupuntahan ko na lang siya sa opisina niya!" Parang baliw na wika niya sa sarili.

ANOTHER phone call, Pierce is now irritated as he pick up.

"What?" He tried not to shout.

"Sir, there's this woman, she said she's your wife."

What? Even here?

"I'll go, I'll see her." He just said.

"Okay Sir." He got up and fix his hair and necktie.

'Who the hell is she?!'

"ANONG sabi?" Tanong agad ni Meg. She's excited and at the same time she's nervous.

"Pupunta na daw po siya. Pwede na po kayong umupo." She shake her head.

"No, I'll surprise him na lang. I'll just wait till the elevator opens!"

The woman assisted her. "Okay, you can go now, thank you." The woman just nodded.

Iisa lang naman ang elevator dito at lahat ay busy kaya nasisigurado niya na ang mismong lalabas ay ang kanyang Pierce.

She waited for almost five minutes until the elevator open.

She immediately hug him, not minding an not looking at the man's face.

"What the hell, woman?!" Pierce is stunned. Who the hell is she?! He didn't got a chance to look at the woman's face.

Marahas niyang tinanggal ang kamay nito.

At ng magtama na ang kanilang mga mata. His mouth gapped open.

"Earth to my Pierce!" At doon lang siya natauhan. Agad niyang hinila ang babae patungo sakanya at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.

Yakap na mahigpit na nag papahiwatig kung gaano niya na miss ang dalaga.

"Ah! Hindi na ako makahinga!" Doon lang siya pinakawalan ng binata.

Pierce stared at her with longing in his eyes. She smiled sweetly at him.

Hindi na niya pinagsalita pa ang binata at agad na lumuhod.

Inilabas niya ang singsing. Matagal na niya itong pinaghandaan. No shame now!

"Will you marry me my Pierce Manson Adkins?"

"Fucking Yes!" Hinila siya nito patayo at agad na hinalikan. She immediately responded with same ferocity.

Itinulak siya ng binata papasok sa elevator habang patuloy pa din sila.

And when they are almost out of breath, doon lang nila pinakawalan ang labi ng isa't isa.

Pierce is still catching his breath when he speak.

"That was supposed to be me, kneeling in front of you." Huminga muna siya ng malalim at tsaka nag salita.

"Well, matagal ko na yong pinaghandaan! Pierce, I love you so fucking much." Napamura din naman si Pierce.

"Language! Love..." Tawag ni Pierce.

Meg just hummed as her response.

"I can love you better now. I am more mature than I ever been before. I promise love, I will never hurt you again. I'm sorry and I love you love." He lovingly said.

Agad namang nag init ang gilid ng kanyang mata.

"I love you too, you crazy badly obsessed Pierce Manson Adkins."

Pierce kiss her forehead, napapikit naman siya dahil doon.

"My wife huh?" Pierce tease.

"Of course! No other woman deserves to be your wife! Me, only me!"

Pierce laugh. "Of course, as if I let them too. I love you."

"I love you too, Love."

They smiled at each other. Pierce lean again to reach Meg's lips, and they shared a passionate kiss inside the elevator.
