"Two years, Catra. You were unconscious." Adora consoled.
Catra held onto her head, wincing. "What happened?"
"We think you fell out of the skiff and your head hit a rock or something to make you fall into a coma," Scorpia explained.
Catra slowly began to sit up. "Where am I?"
"Bright Moon, " Adora noted. She reached for her hand but forgot that Bow and Glimmer were in the room.
Catra caught a look at Bow and Glimmer staring at them. "Nice seeing you again, Sparkles," Catra grumbled, teasing her even after all this time.
"Don't. Call. Me. Spark-!" Glimmer protested.
"Okay, Glimmer and I are going to get something to eat. In the room outside of this room." Bow chimed in, grabbing Glimmer by her shoulders. Glimmer groaned and teleported them out.
"So two years, huh?" Catra asked.
"Scorpia, could you please give Catra and me some privacy?" Adora uttered, her eyes glossy from upcoming tears.
Scorpia nodded her head slightly. She headed towards the door and left the room, smiling at the two before closing the door shut.
"So you've been taking care of me?" Catra guessed.
"Yeah. So has Scorpia. She's a really sweet person." Adora admitted.
"I guess." Catra chuckled. "Don't tell her I said this but, she's sometimes really funny."
Catra heard sobbing coming from Adora. Catra looked confused as to why Adora was crying. Did she really cause that much worry?
"You good?"
"You scared me, Catra." Adora blubbered, trying to speak without stuttering.
"Hey, I'm alive, right?"
"That's true but, it doesn't change the fact that I waited two whole years for you to wake up." Adora sniffled. "You think it was easy for me to see you like that?! You had me worried sick! Thinking you could have died or suffered!"
"I didn't know."
"Well, now you do! So...yeah."
"Look if care about me so much, why are we enemies?"
"We made a choice."
"You're right."
"That doesn't mean we can't have another chance."
"At what?"
"Our friendship."
"After Hordak nearly killed me, I made a vow to myself that I would never let anyone persuade me to anything or get the best of me everyday since that day."
"Well if you won't let anyone get the best of you, why are listening to me on and on about this?"
"Because today is not one of those days."
Just as Catra said those words, she kissed as passionate as she could. Adora wasn't shocked by this act from Catra. Considering the relationship they had in the Horde, she knew this had to happen one day, even when they were enemies.
Are they still enemies?
Adora didn't bother to think twice about what were they. She gripped the back of Catra's head and pulled her closer to her. Catra, on the other hand, was actually surprised that Adora was kissing her back.
Once running out of oxygen, both Adora and Catra pulled away, breathless. Catra and Adora didn't look away from each other. Adora rubbed Catra's thighs faintly and Catra curled her fingers in Adora's head.
It seemed like time began to stop whenever they would peck one another's lip.
"Consider that a 'thank you' for taking care of me." The brunette purred softly.
"Don't mention it." The yellow-haired one breathed. "You know, if I kissed you like that, would you have joined the rebellion sooner?"
"Who said I was joining your gang of princesses?"
"You're not?"
Catra shushed her and lightly kissed her ear. "Yes."
Adora smiled, cupped Catra's cheek, and pulled her into a warm embrace. Adora began to cry and laugh at the same time. Her cries were for Catra being alive and tears of joy. Her laughter were for, once again, tears of joy and because Catra was finally going to join the rebellion, even though it took a while; it was completely worth it.
