Although, that was a long time ago.

[End of Flash Back]

If any of them are hurt...
That robber is going to have one heck of a bad time.
I stepped on the gas pedal harder then before as if every second counts[you never know if it does]
And sped faster and faster down the streets, but unfortunately my gas was too low and my car started slowing to a stop, I jumped out of the car and ran into an ally. I sang a song every time I took one of my short cuts to Grillby's to remember where to take each turn.
I closed my eyes and started humming the tune

~past the paintings~
~on the wall, jump over the Christmas tree~

I ran past the graffitied "paintings" and jumped over the now broken Christmas tree graffitied picture on the cement.

turn right~!
turn left~!
avoid getting theft~!
Jump over the splintered fence~!

I turned right then left looking over my shoulder for shady people, jumping over the, always damp, wooden fence, gaining a few splinters like I had always.

circle the the fighting pass~
jump over the metal fence!
Slip through four doors take four more, take 3 rights, pass the red door~

Thinking I'm the song now, I really shouldn't have been going through all these sketchy places just to get the first batch of fries.

I rushed pass a glass door and into the ally way once again, my shoes plopping on the cement. The roaring cars muffling the sounds as I reached the end of the path the sun light once again bathed me just like then, as if it were hugging me for comfort. I saw it, just as I remembered, Grillby's was there, no sound no movement nothing. I ran to the entrance doors and hesitated. 'Why am I hesitating? They could be in trouble!' But my hand moved slowly 'or what if it's nothing? And I'm here for nothing!' My hand now firmly grasping the door, but still no movement to open it.
'Come on Y/N! Get ahold of yourself! Someone could be dying in there! Someone could be scared and hurt! ITS BETTER TO BE WRONG THEN RIGHT IN THIS SITUATION!'
And with that, I swung open the heavy but welcoming doors into my childhood memory.
How I wish it was like how my memory remembered it.
I looked at the bar, the stools looked worn out but still the same, everything was still the same, the windows, the seats, the bar the lights. There was only one thing that was different,
No one was here, everything laid still and silent, even the street seemed to quiet down and pause as if time stopped. I went to the cash register and opened it, no money was there, it was barren, that's a bad sign. I looked towards the door leading to the back, it was open, it's never open. I quickly walked to the door and peered inside, what laid inside horrified me. Blood, blood was on the floor and some was on the walls, not too much but someone was seriously harmed, I looked around rushing from each portion of the room careful not to touch the blood, I turned towards a back, back, door, I opened it.
"OOF"
A body crashed into mine, I hit my head as I hit the floor, I was too dizzy to get up or look at the body very well. "AAAAAAA!" I screamed jerking me limbs around for something, anything!
"AAAAAAAAA!!!"
The body screamed back at me, I must be losing my marbles! I looked down at the body after gaining my sight back from the dizziness. The eyes or should I say eye Sockets met mine as I looked at the same yellow stupid pin prints.

"AAAAAAAA!!"
We both screamed, I pushed him off making him flop on the floor. "Why the heck are you in there!?" The only response I got was an audible grunt, his pin prints found me and stared at me with an expression I can't place, after a minute I asked my question once again. "hello, Mr bone boy why the heck are you here?" Anger laced my words, his pin prints took its gaze off me and onto the bloody wall. "Why should I tell you?" G said with an annoyed expression now, I searched his body for injuries and found a few broken places and bleeding cuts'how does he even bleed? There's not exactly a place for the blood to be' I got up and grabbed his hand only for it to be yanked away"and what the hell do you think your doing huh doll?"He jumped up to his feet, I also stood up reaching for his arm again, he grabbed my arm tightly "was I not clear enough for you? Or are you just begging for a beating?" his voice dark, darker yet darker, his pin prints went out leaving an empty socket, I don't know why it scared me, it didn't scare me, it terrified me."I-I, you, but I just wanted to help you!" I curse myself for stuttering, 'my face probably looks like I'm stupidly scared, curse my expressions! Curse my words! Curse me!'
His pin prints are back, they waver almost as if he had regret in his eyes, but of course I said almost. He immediately let my arm go, not gently but not roughly. He turned from me reaching into his pockets for I can only guess a new pack of his cigarettes. "Yeah as if, now for what happened." He turned to me with a cigarette between his boney hands, he leaned in close to my face and blowed smoke into my eyes. I coughed and batted the smoke away "I know you won't get hurt by smoke in your nonexistent lungs but keep doing stuff like that and I'll be dead in no time at all, not to mention frisk." My eyes watered from all the smoke in my eyes, he grunts and continues his thing "I was hanging around the bar at grillby's and someone got a bit too drunk, they attacked grillby and a few other costumers including myself" "What about the blood on the floor and walls?" I asked curiously picking up my suspicions, he must have seen it in my eyes "look, doll, I ain't lying to ya you can ask grillby yourself, as for the blood...it's mostly mine and...grillby's.." I lifted my head registering what I had just heard. My expression I knew was unreadable, my eyes clouded with an emotion I kept down and out of the way ever since that day years ago, fear. My body didn't move although I was fearful that I would never see my dear old friend again "is he alright?" The only words I were able to make myself say "he's fine, thankfully, we both apprehended the drunk bum" he said not even sparing me a glance.

Sirens

Both his and my head snapped in the direction of the police sirens. 'They just NOW get here?!' I panicked what do I do? Which way? Stay still? Go out? Run?
Once again my expression gave me away.
"Look doll we ain't responsible and dun worry I called them and they know who I am" he stated in a cocky tone 'what?' "Why do they know you? Get in these situations a lot?" I plastered a cocky grin of my own saying the last part. He turned to me smiling, but I could see the anger boiling up inside that thick skull of his. He walked to me and grabbed my waist 'the heck?!' I looked up at him with an annoyed look on my face trying to get out of his grasp, "aww what's wrong doll? Don't like being harassed?" His cocky smirk was back, that jerk! "Close yer eyes dove" "okay okay! What's with all the nicknames G?" I asked in a slight growl.
"Just close yer eyes alright lil dove?"
I did as suggested
Oh boy
when I opened my eyes the world was left behind
Even if only for a few seconds.

"She's the sun, the wind the air you breath in cold nights ware, she sings a song of hope and cheer, there's no more pain there's no more fear, when love and justice are close and near."
