"tell me Philip..." he looks back at me with such intimidation and such darkness in his eyes like he's trying me to even dare lie to him.

"Are you falling in love with a colonizer?" his voice deepened when he said the end of the sentence...

my palms began to sweat not knowing what to answer i only looked away from him tearing my eyes away from the brother i never recognize anymore since dad and del pilar died...

"No..." i said trying to mask whats the truth beneath the surface in the tip of my tongue
he only looked at me and it felt like a decade pass because of it but i heard him sigh.

" 'even from death do us apart i will always be with you...' " i look back fastly seeing him reading the note he was supposed to give me...

he looked again at me " that's not how economic partners talk to each other Philip" he said with a chilling voice.

"so tell me again..." i felt my fist tighten wanting to disappear right here right now...

"did you or did you not fallen for your colonizer?" he said with more authority...

i became speechless not knowing what to say i only stared at the floor, i hid both of my hands behind my back because they are trembling out of fear and nervousness...

"speak Philip or I'll have my gun rampaging at America's face if he comes here," he said threateningly as he walks closer to me it made me step back.

hearing the clacking of martial shoes colliding at the pavement floor getting louder and louder
until the clacking stops... 

i can only see martial's shoes at my view I felt scared or rather terrified to look up to see what expression martial is bearing right now.

but i only heard him sigh gently" Philip..." instead of intimidation or anything that made martial sound martial...

it's gentle and surprisingly caring...

i finally looked up meeting a soft expression martial rarely gave...

"I'm not going to hurt you and you know that," martial said to me "i just..." he only sigh "want to know whats going on between you and America," he said sounding a little dismissive...

"besides i have all right to know this because I'm a general leading our military," he said sounding a little authority aswell.

i felt myself stop trembling a little and i felt my chest isn't feeling tight anymore, i breath trying to calm myself more...

"i..." i breath again once more "me and ame are...together in a personal way..." i look away i felt martial head shake "that's what i thought," he said quietly...

martial step back giving me space to breathe in but yet he still gave me a cold stare even after what happened...

 "i have no right to stop you but..." he trailed off

"America is not a force to be reckoned with Philip," he said sounding like he's giving me a warning...

"You may be with America on a personal level but be careful at what i say to you..." he chuckled darkly

"big countries will always use the small ones no doubt...
that's why I'm warning you right now..." he looked at me his eyes glaze with worry but overshadowed by a cold look...

"be careful with That Amerkano Philip, his a powerful country
he'll turn in an instant if he has to..." i look at him trying to keep my shock behind me

"i heard bad news when it comes to him he'll destroy you if he wants too..." he said quietly

he looked away from me turning his back...

"We already got that from that bastard Espanyol 333 years ago...
he made us trust them then they have gotten control of us..."

i felt my heart became slower but yet i still don't feel calm...

"big powerful countries will always destroy the small ones..." he whispered opening the door...

"I'm not saying were weak but..." he looked back at me but now his face is only full of worry

"We should be careful" 

he said lastly closing the door leaving Philip alone in his room...
