"The three of us" he said "Patrick ... he left the dressing room immediately after the concert, said he would go to the toilet"
"But he has not returned?"
"No. The guys and I waited a bit and followed him. I opened the door to the toilet, and he ... just lay on a cold floor in a puddle of his own blood. It ... it poured from his head, someone..."
Joe suddenly began to choke on air and tears. Sam frowned compassionately.
"Someone hit his head against the wall. Very much, the doctors said, he died instantly. There was even blood on his lips..."
"Did you see anyone leaving the toilet before you arrived?"
"No, I have not seen anyone"
"Joe, did Patrick have any enemies?" Sam asked.
"What? Of course not! He was a great guy, everyone adored him"
"How long have you known him?"
"Since two thousand one... four years I suppose" thought Joe and wiped his tears "He really had no enemies. He was always quiet, timid, but at the same time smart and talented. Everyone liked him"
Sam and Dean looked at each other. It is time for a decisive question.
"Joe, do you remember which morgue he was taken to?" asked the younger Winchester.
"It seems to be in the central city hospital. There is a morgue"
Sam ran a chill on his back. The brothers got up from the sofa and went to the exit of the apartment. Suddenly, Dean asked :
" Joe, can I inspect Patrick's personal belongings? Perhaps this will help the investigation"
"Okay" the guy was taken aback "If you need to ... His room is on the right along the corridor"
Dean nodded to Sam, as if to say that the musician needs to be distracted. Therefore, Sam returned to the living room and pointed his finger at the brick wall on the left.
"Joe, isn't it this place where you took pictures for your first album, "Take This to Your Grave"?"
"Are you a fan?" surprised Joe "Yes, it was here where the old sofa used to be. We had to throw it away. Two years have passed"
Meanwhile, Dean walked into the room that belonged to Patrick. It was very small, just a bed, desk, wardrobe, and a bunch of scattered clothing and packaging from under the chips. It seems that finding himself without parental supervision, the guy completely abandoned the order. On the wall at the head of the bed hung a few covers of magazines such as « Alternative Press » and « Rocksound », which the musician neatly cut and pasted. The magazines had his own band's photos.
"Looks like you were very proud of it" said Dean aloud and stepped over the mountain of clothes. He even felt a little sorry for the guy.
In the corner lay several guitars, covers from under them and an amplifier. On the table were scribbled notebooks with notes and other small things. It seemed that yesterday the guy was sitting here and writing down everything that comes to his mind. And now he is gone.
Dean opened one of the notebooks on a random page. There were words everywhere, but the text was mostly crossed out. The guy had a terribly chaotic handwriting. Dean reviewed the title of the song.
"Where Is Your Boy Tonight ?" said he "How cute"
Finally, Winchester pulled an EMF meter from his bosom and began to examine the room.
***
The brothers met on the street near their own car.
" Well, did you manage to talk him out?" Dean asked.
