Chapter 4 (The Demon Inside)

Kenzie's Confessional: After the purple smoke disappeared, we realised that the three most useless people disappeared. What a coincidence!

"You guys, Sen, Al, and Shal are missing. Which might not be so bad after all. Shalom did tried to kill me." Phillip blurted. "We still need to do something." Nashira replied. She also realised that something was weird. She saw a crystal ball glowing in a distance. The group took a closer look to see what's up. The ball revealed the innocent woman earlier was alive but possessed. It unveiled the truth that Morrigan's magic grow stronger for every mortal soul she successfully possess. So they must cleanse the girl for Morrigan to be weak enough to be defeated. The group must find 3 holy items needed to cleanse the girl. A rosemary, holy cross, and salt water. They're located in the Egyptian Exhibit, Valhalla, and in the yard. The guests began splitting into three group, Phillip, Kenzie, Nadhira, and Keiona, Bertrand, Gazel, Shalom, Leonna, and Senna, Rafa, Satya, Nashira, Alya, and Turo.

Group 1: Egyptian Exhibit

Phillip, Kenzie, Nadhira, and Keiona made their way to the Egyptian Exhibit and saw that everything has been rearranged. The Tome of Egypt was opened in a certain page where it explained the rules of the game. "4 players, 4 riddles, and an unknown winner. Each player must pick a riddle to solve for the game to start. The sand timer will start moving once everyone is set. The players who finished their riddle before the timer ends will be granted immunity from the death challenge while those who fail are automatically voted into the pile." Kenzie read. The group realised that there are 4 artifacts and each of them represented different riddles. There were a pyramid, a mini mummy statue, a wand, and a beetle. Once everyone has picked their artifact, the game has begun. It wasn't long for Phillip and Nadhira to complete their task since they're very clever. Keiona did her task just in time while Kenzie was too late. So only Kenzie's card will be voted in once. In the other hand, a random cross appeared flying on top of the tome. Phillip took it and left the exhibit.

Group 2: Valhalla

Senna's Confessional: Bertrand, Shalom, Gazel, Leonna, and I were tasked to go to Valhalla. I remember Valhalla being a beautiful place so I'm not complaining.

The first thing they see after arriving at Valhalla was the huge statue of a Goddess. However, the statue was crying blood. In front of it is a credence table with a cube on top. Gazel took the cube and his first instinct was to destroy it. Inside, is a paper written in ink. "The Goddess is rumoured to cry mystical tears if crowned with the circlet of Brynhildr. The circlet can only be obtained by those who are worthy enough to destroy the oak of the enchanted forest and may kiss the foot of thy Goddess." Leonna read. Shalom found a piece of wood in the credence table and smashed it to the floor. Not even a scratch was made. Gazel had a creative idea to place it in between two tables and karate chop it. He immediately smashed with his hand and it broke in two. He then went to the statue and kissed the Goddess's foot. A light shined down to us and a majestic crown went floating down to the Goddess's head. The statue's tears went from blood red to transparent. Leonna took a small bottle and bottled the tears up. Just to reassure, she tasted the water to see if it is salty (it was). "Did it burn, demon?" Senna joked.

Group 3: Yard

The last group made their way to the extremely large yard. "A lot is happening there." Satya blurted. They see nine armoured women in a circle with a mask on. They don't seem to be moving or doing anything but breathing. Alya took a step on the cold lone grass and suddenly a table with a book appeared right in front of them. "The Rod of Knockaine are rumored to be able to control the Morrigans. Unlike other deities, the Morrigans has many faces and likes to change them. You must solve the Celtic Conundrum and pick the right masks for the rosemary to appear. The rod will only work once you completed the Celtic death challenge. If you pick the right ones, the maiden shall not open her eyes. If you pick the wrong ones, the maiden will open her eyes and capture you. Those names who are captured will automatically be in the pile of cards." Turo read carefully. The riddles/story are written in the other pages. "Alya, why don't you go first and prove yourself worthy." Rafa insisted. "You don't even need to tell me, I'm volunteering." Alya replied. She walked through and between the maidens and observed around. "I roam around at night searching for men to feast upon." The first conundrum said. She saw a cat shaped mask and it must be it. She took it off and luckily, the maiden didn't open her eyes.

Alya's Confessional: I took their face off and oh my god. They had their mouth stitched together. What in the world?!

It was then Satya's turn. The second conundrum was, "My face shines to those around me. But the closer you look, the darker it gets." Satya was conflicted between picking the sun and moon mask or the half smiley half sad face. He made his mind and picked the half face. As he took of the mask, the mouth-stitched maiden opened her eyes and captured Satya. The group took turns of answering the riddles until it was Rafa and Nashira left. "Only 1 more mask, we can do it." Rafa gushed. "The last mask can only be opened by heart purer than cotton. The person who will open the mask will automatically be voted in once. You can turn and be a coward, or die a hero." Nashira read in her heart. "Rafa, get ready to take the rosemary." she continued. Nashira took off the mask and got captured while Rafa took the rosemary and ran back to the lounge. He was in shock seeing Nashira, Satya, Alya, and Turo in one piece in the lounge. "Everyone got everything needed?" Phillip asked. "Yep." Shalom answered. "It's time for the death challenge. Those who were captured/lost will automatically be put in the deck. Kenzie, Alya, Turo, Satya, Nashira." Maximus said as he put the listed names into the deck. "You may now vote."

"Y'all now who I'm voting for, Senna." Alya scolded as she made her way to vote Senna in. After everyone got their turn to vote, it was time to pick. "Senna... and... Alya." Maximus said as he turned the card.

Senna's Confessional: You called me out and now you're here with me girl, hell yeah.

Phillip's Confessional: Senna has been pretty useless and Alya is just plain rude. Neither of them has been a very good asset to the team so I don't care who comes back.

"What the hell? Y'all voted me in because I was vocal of my opinion?" Alya yelled. The two guests are brought back down to the basement where the innocent girl was possessed. They saw the girl screaming while being in a dislocated position. They also saw the Morrigans circling the girl but this time, they gave them a note. "The first name who was voted in will have to hold down the girl. If he/she ever let her go, they will instantly die. The second name will have to do the whole bidding and ritual to cleanse the girl. Once everything is completed, the Rod of Knockaine will be revealed and the holder may control the Morrigans." they both read out loud. Senna began holding the girl while Alya start lighting candles, cleansing the cross, etc. Alya's final step of cleansing was to put the rosemary on someone's head. The person who wears it will be sacrificed to the Morrigans but the girl will be cleansed. She had the choice to either kill herself or Senna. She made her decision to kill Senna because they have a little bad blood. She then put the rosemary on top of Senna's head and a rod appeared coming down from the sky. She took the rod quickly and commanded the Morrigans to stop whatever they're doing. In the mean time, the girl was cleansed and Senna is still breathing. "Your betrayal is not complete. You must command all of us to kill your friend for you to get the key." The three Morrigans said at once. "No what kind of bullshit is that? I know I don't like him but I'm not gonna kill him." Alya cried. "I just wanna go home." she continued. After she said that, the Morrigans disappeared into purple smokes. She thought that they're both safe but turns out, Senna isn't. He got possessed by the Morrigans and he ripped his body limbs by limbs brutally. He was pulling his own eyes, biting his hand, to splitting his head to two. The whole time Alya had to witness all that brutality and screaming before the key appeared. She finally took the key as she cried to the lounge. She was traumatized of what she saw but it's too late to go back.

"Wow, what happened? Why are you covered in blood?" Kenzie asked. "Senna had to die so we could get this key." Alya continued to cry. The girls comforted her while the boys inserted the key into the box.

"Death is coming for you." a mysterious man with a deep voice shouted.
