I walked through the door and was instantly enveloped in rays of light. The torture room was always kept dark except for one light in the centre. I closed the door and began walking down the long hallway. It was long and was painted white, though it had patches of ripped paint, stains and smudges. The hall way itself was about 3 metres wide, with pipes going all the way across. I didn't know exactly what this facility was called, but it was covered in pipes and wires. I followed the hallway for a few minutes until I came to the right, down which was another hallway that looked exactly the same as every other hallway.

I walked down it until I came across a door on my left. Basically it was just a room with clothes in it, it wasn't technically mine though. My room was on the other side of the building, it was a huge room with basically a huge garden in it. "The natural habitat of a wolf, well sorta" Gorge would say. Technically it was except that it was indoors, that was really the only exception. It was about 2km by 2km, it was a large square room that I enjoyed. At night Gorge locks me in there to go to sleep, which is okay. The only exception is if we have a job or mission to do.

I walked into the clothes room and grabbed a new pair of clothes. I put them on and closed the door behind me as I headed to the dinning room, it was about lunch time. It was still freezing, in fact it was always freezing. Everyone here always wore warm clothes, Gorge always did underneath his lab coat and the guards were always wearing big poofy black jackets. I was always the one wearing stuff that you would normally find in tropical areas that weren't cold. My feet always felt like they would snap at any moment, but they never did, I was always cold.

I walked down the long hallway and turned to enter another until I finally reached the dinning room. I opened the door, it was the same big wooden room that Mia and I had been in the first time. There were people already seated and watched as I walked over to Gorge, sitting on the floor beside his chair. It was funny, Gorge always had the same chair, he would get angry if anyone ever sat in it or stole it. In fact it was the same chair he had held us by leashes last time as well.

I sat on the red carpet beside Gorges chair. Everyone went back to talking after I had taken my seat, I didn't ears drop on them, their conversations were always pretty boring to me. The people at the table weren't all the same as last time, some were different some weren't there, but there was always people there, and there was always enough people to fill every seat.

After about half an hour of talking, 5 chefs came in with plates of food. One of them gave Gorge a plate of steak and mashed potatoes and a dog bowl full of raw beef. I waited patiently and calmly as they started to eat. After a few minutes, Gorge handed me the bowl of raw beef. I accepted it and held it in my left hand as I picked out the bits of meat and ate them with my right. The flavour was delightful and the meat soothed my growling stomach.

They continued to eat and talk for quite some time. I was eating my food when I started to hear yelling, I snapped out of it and focused on what was going on.
"I won't follow you any more Gorge, I'm sick of this, I'm going to go to the police to shut all this down." One of the men yelled, standing up and pushing his seat behind him.

"It's not a good idea to cross me Frank." Gorge said sternly. Taking a sip of red wine from his wine glass.
"I'm so sick of this Gorge enoughs enough." Frank said as he headed towards the door. Gorge didn't move,
"Jackson." He said loudly. I put my food down on the floor and shifted into my wolf form, I ran to the door and stood in front of it before Frank could even touch it. I snarled and growled at him, he jumped back in surprise and fear.

"You should never cross me." Gorge said loud enough for everyone to hear him. "Jackson, kill him." My eyes lit up with excitement as I attacked Frank, ripping his flesh to shreds and blood filling my mouth. It was quite a thrill.

Mia's POV

Its been a week since Jackson disappeared, everyone's been trying to find him but so far, nothing. I tried to follow his scent, but every time I tried, I would always loose the trail. He was just gone, like he vanished off the face of the earth. I want him back so badly, his disappearance was my fault, I should have stuck by him, I should have been there for him, instead I was with people I only just met. I'm still friends with them, but wouldn't go as far as to say that we're best friends. There's only one person I can call my best friend and that's Jackson.

Even when Jackson left, classes remained the same, everything remained the same. It felt kinda like an insult, like no one was doing anything to find him, no one even noticed he was gone. Only the group that saved us from Gorge was searching, as well as the headmistress, they seemed like the only people who realised he was gone. His private teacher had noticed, obviously cause her one student wasn't turning up to her class. But other than that, the world just seemed to keep on spinning, oblivious to what had happened.

I couldn't stand it, Jackson was nowhere, he was hurt, i hurt him, and who knows what else has happened to him. It's my fault he ran off, it should be me to find him, I should find him and make things right again. But I'm stuck at this school, this school for strange people, I wasn't allowed to go searching for him, I was told to stay here and continue with classes. I couldn't just leave, I didn't have it in me, I'm not brave enough to go off on my own, to find my best friend. I'm pathetic, I can't even help the one person who's helped me my entire life. For once in my life, I feel like a speck of light in a never ending ocean of darkness.

Jackson's POV

The taste of blood in my mouth was like a rush of adrenaline through my entire body, it felt great. Frank had stopped moving and squirming a few minutes ago, there was no way that he was still alive, not after this. I stood over his body, still in wolf form. I licked my lips and walked back over towards Gorge. He seemed pleased by the mess by the door, that alone made me feel happy and accomplished. Gorge had a smile across his face as he turned to the rest of the people at the table.
"Let me make myself clear, don't cross me unless you want to die." He said before taking a sip of red wine from the glass standing in front of him.

I continued to eat the chunks of raw meat in the dog bowl as everyone started to talk again. A few of them looked happy to see Frank that way, while others just looked scared. I continued to stay in wolf form while I ate my meal, frankly it was warmer, and I felt more comfortable. I felt someone touch my head, I instantly looked up to see Gorge patting me, he wasn't looking at me but it felt kinda nice, it seemed like he was saying great job without any words. I excepted his gesture as I continued to eat.
