As we trekked through the dense forest, Kakashi's hand rested gently on my shoulder, leading me deeper into the woods. The air was heavy with the scent of pine and damp earth, and the sweet melody of birdsong provided an eerie soundtrack. We finally emerged into a small clearing, surrounded by tall trees that created a canopy of shade. Kakashi gestured for me to stand in the center of the clearing, while he remained at the edge. He removed his headband, revealing his infamous scarred eye, and I could feel the intensity in his gaze as he stared at me, his mask hiding the lower half of his face. "Now, let's begin," he said in a low voice, signaling the start of our training."First, activate your Sharingan. If you're having trouble, try to recall the emotions you felt when it first awakened." Kakashi instructed.
I shut my eyes, inhaled deeply, and focused on channeling the emotions from that moment. The image of Zabuza's limp body brought forth a mix of sadness and anger, which I harnessed to fuel my chakra. Time seemed to slow down, and a peculiar pressure built behind my eyes. As I opened them, the world appeared more vivid and defined than ever before. My Sharingan had activated, with three tomoe spinning in my gaze.
"Good," Kakashi nodded. "Now, I want you to focus on an object in front of you. Try to see it with your Sharingan, not just your eyes."
I looked around the clearing, searching for something to focus on. My eyes landed on a small rock, sitting at the edge of the clearing. I focused on the rock, trying to see it with my Sharingan. At first, it was difficult, but as I concentrated harder, the rock started to glow with a faint black aura. I could see every detail of the rock, down to the tiniest grain of dirt on its surface.
"Excellent," Kakashi praised. "Now, I want you to try and copy my movements." His hands moved in a series of intricate seals as he stepped forward. With my Sharingan, I analyzed his movements, watching them closely. I mimicked his actions, my hands moving in perfect synchronization with his. But soon, he began to increase his speed until his hands were a blur. He moved with fluid grace, shifting effortlessly from one seal to another.
Despite the difficulty of keeping up, with each attempt, I improved, my body moving more naturally as I began to anticipate his movements. For what felt like hours, we continued like this, with Kakashi pushing me to my limits and beyond. As his hands came to a stop, I was exhausted but also exhilarated. I had learned more in those few hours than I had in months of training at the Academy.
"Well done," Kakashi said, a closed-eye smile playing at the corners of his mouth beneath his mask. "Now, let's try something a bit more challenging-"
Agonizing pain shot through my head, followed by a strange liquid trickling from my eyes. Without thinking, I reached up to wipe it away, only to realize the liquid was thick and warm. As I held my hands up to my face, I saw the alarming shade of red, and panic set in. Blood was flowing down my face, and my head was pounding. I stumbled, trying to steady myself, but the world spun uncontrollably. Just as I braced for impact, my face met a solid surface. I opened my eyes in surprise to see Kakashi's concerned eyes staring down at me. "Are you alright?" he asked, concern lacing his voice. I groaned, clutching my head in pain. "What's happened?" I managed to ask.
"You overexerted yourself," Kakashi explained. "Your Sharingan is still new to you, and you pushed yourself too hard. You need to learn to pace yourself." He helped me stand upright, and I could feel the blood continuing to flow from my eyes. Kakashi handed me a cloth to stem the bleeding. "Rest for now," he said. "We can continue training once you've recovered." I nodded, feeling embarrassed at my sudden weakness.
