"yeah." She readjusted her body so she was now lying on her stomach with her head comfortably placed into the pillow, "I could so take a fat nap right now."
derrick chuckled, "Why don't you?" he asked.
Kacy turned her head towards where he was laying before opening her eyes to be instantly greeted by his own looking directly at her, "3.....2...1" she slowly counted down
when nothing happened derrick quirked a brow, "What?"
She once again closed her eyes, "I wanted that to be more dramatic, just give it a minute."
"Give what a min-." he began but was cut off by the door slamming open.
Kacy groaned as a sudden weight smashed her body further into the bed.
"Come on girlie, meeting at Val's in T minus 60 seconds," April's voice laughed before she removed herself from sitting on her friend, "Or else it'll be Val coming in here... not me."
At the terrible thought of Valerie being the one to drag her out of the bed Kacy grudgingly god oh of her comfortable position and followed April down the long wide hallway.
Once they opened the door to Valerie's bedroom they saw her simply laying on her bed leaning against her headboard with her phone in hand. Kacy couldn't tell if she was texting someone or if she was on a social media platform because she only had one hand holding her phone but it was still rapidly tapping the screen.
"So how was lunch?" April asked as she sat down on the bed next to Valerie, patting her leg to tell her that the investigator was beginning.
Kacy shut the bedroom door behind her and shrugged, "it was alright."
"Define alright, because if it was as boring as yesterday's then your never seeing him again," Valerie stated as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yeah, we both agreed yesterday's was awkward so we decided to let loose today."
"And?" April questioned.
"And he took me to the Cafe. Lunch isn't that long so we didn't have much to do but this time we talked...a lot."
Valerie tilted her head, "Yeah that sounds boring."
Well, we didn't have other options really, lunch is barely an hour long."
okay so tell us some things you talked about
well he said that he'd really like to hang out more and we should do dinner Saturday night
so like a date?
"yeah"
omg your gonna go on a date
it's really not that big of a deal
April glared at Kacy, "You've never been on one before
Kacy blushed, "Please don't make a big deal out of this."
"We are definitely going to make a big deal out of this, we are also going to give you date tips. We should ask the guys to."
Kacy groaned as she laid back in the bed. "I give up."
The door to Valerie's room was met with a series of rapid knocks that resembled a song.
