Damn, I'm a few months late with this second chapter aren't I? Honestly I didn't think that many people would enjoy my writing. Well anyway, here's the second chapter finally.

"Will the pillars be there too?" Y/N asked the twins in curiosity. His father being a pillar himself he had heard many stories about the strongest demon slayers, and their demises at the hands of the upper moons.

The twins thought for a moment, "Currently only the Insect, Fire, Love and Wind pillars are present. The others are undertaking missions in different parts of the world." They answered politely, eyes still focused straight ahead. "I hope you understand."

With a sudden stop, the two girls pointed at a house, with its polished and expensive appearance it looked like something a royal would live in, especially with the well kept garden in front of it. "Master Oyakata is waiting for you inside."

"Nice place." Y/N gazed upon the premises, almost envious of the pillars. He had been sleeping in any place he could find for the past few years so seeing something like this was new to him.

The girls began to walk away back towards the exit. Y/N took this as his cue to enter the house, hoping that Oyakata and the pillars would be pleasant people, he would be working with them for most of his life after all, however long his life would be.

"Welcome Y/N, please take a seat." Oyakata greeted with a smile as Y/N entered, his voice soothing and calm, despite how injured and sick he looked.

In contrast to the mans friendly appearance, a strong sense of discomfort covered Y/N. This man, Oyakata, had no battle spirit whatsoever. Even babies possessed a faint amount of battle spirit, but this man: He had none. There was no ill intent from him at all.

Ignoring his discomfort, Y/N followed the man's instructions, sitting down opposite him.

Surveying the room, it was only him and Oyakata. Although Y/N could hear the sounds of people training outside, aswell as their finely honed battle spirits, which were much more present than Oyakata's.

From the speed of their steps and the strong clashes of blades, it had to be the pillars. No one else would be able to match them in combat, other than the upper moons, Muzan's very own team of highly powerful demons, Y/N knew how deadly they could be. How cruel they were. How little humanity they had left.

His eyes filled with anger, his fists clenching so tightly they began to bleed, his mind filling with pure manic fury.

"Something on your mind Y/N?" Oyakata asked kindly as Y/N calmed himself.

"Just bad memories. " He answered simply, calming himself and putting a sad smile on his face, the room filling with silence as the two men looked at each other curiously.

"Why did you call me here?" Y/N asked impatiently, keeping a calm demeanor.

Oyakata simply turned his head, looking at the doorway. "A gift."

As if on cue, two girls entered the room, they looked quite similar to the other girls who oversaw the final selections, but they were definitely different. This time they were carrying a sheathed blade. It looked to be well-kept, as if it were made only moments ago.

They placed the blade onto the table, nodded at Oyakata: who thanked them profusely, and exited without another word.

Oyakata nodded at Y/N, signaling him to grab the sword. With a spark of intrigue, he lifted it hesitantly, looking over the handle with curious eyes. Y/N began to slowly unsheath the blade; the metalwork was flawless.
