Buss. Buss.

I look at my phone to see Hadin calling me. I take a breath and lift the phone to my ear accepting the phone call.

"Hello." I answer.

"Hi." He says without missing a beat. "How's work?" He asks me.

"Fine. I'm just setting up my office." I tell him. It's not fully a lie.

"I can see that." He says.

"Wait you can what?" I ask him as I hear a knock on the door. I look up to see him standing there. He is in blue jeans and a white short sleeve shirt with green sneakers. He hangs up his phone putting it in his front jeans pocket. I put my phone on my desk. I can't help but smile. "What are you doing here?" I ask him.

"I didn't like how we left things. I wanted to come and make sure that everything is okay." He says entering the office shutting the door. He sits on the edge of my desk. "So. Talk to me." He whispers.

"What happened that night Hadin? I don't want lies. I want the entire truth." I ask him. Half terrified of what the truth is and half not wanting to know just wanting him to hold me again and kiss my lips.

"After I walked you home, I got to the frat house and I noticed this guy that I didn't recognize. He was walking around talking to everyone asking if they new you or of you. Ashlynn and Jace had already left when he showed up. When we went up to Cole and Liam I walked over. He was telling everyone that he was your boyfriend and wanted to know where you were. I told him that I didn't believe him because I met your boyfriend when you moved to town. He got flustered and left the house. I assume he already knew were you lived because when I got the phone call from you that someone was trying to break in. when I got there he was in the lobby. I lied to you that night that I didn't see anyone while heading up to you. I didn't want you to be more worried then you already were." He tells me. I look at my computer. "I don't want to lose you. I don't want you to leave because I was trying to protect you." He states.

"I just don't understand why you'd lie? You lied to me and to Jarrod when he asked if you met him that night." I tell him.

"Because I can tell by the way he looked at me he didn't trust me, if I told him that I did talk to Connor that night. He would have had more ammunition to not believe me and to try and turn you against me." Hadin tells me.

"I honestly don't know what you want me to say. The fact you lied to me intentionally gives me doubt to even trust you right now Hadin." I pause. "I can't be hurt by someone else Hadin. I took a big risk trusting and being with you something I don't do and now, I just don't know if I made the right choice. "I tell him.

"What are you saying that it's over between us?" He asks me as he stands up.

"That's not what I'm saying Hadin. I just need time to think and with you suffocating me isn't making it any easier." I slam my elbows down on my desk and cover my face.

"I'm sorry." Hadin whispers seeing how upset I am. He drops to his knees beside me. Turning my chair to him. "Sara. Look at me." He pleads. I remove my hands from my face and look at the shell of a man keeling in front of me. He has tears in his eyes. "You know me. You've known you can trust me the moment we met. Right?" He asks me and just look at him tears running down my face. "Why can't your trust me now? Nothing happened." He pleads. I look into his eyes and see something different. He's lying. Something happened more then he's letting me know about. He's trying to hide something like always.

"Your right. I knew I could trust you when we first met without any explanation." I agree. "But now. Something has changed and everything in my body and soul is telling me that your lying to me." I tell him. "Please go." I beg.
