"I know what that means! I meant what on earth made you think any of that mattered?!" Sebastian wondered in outrage.
"Don't be so surprised, it was predictable I'd come after her. She matches the traits of my victims, doesn't she?" Sebastian heard Giuseppe shuffle as well as the muffled cries of which he assumed came from Luciana. "She's slightly more tanned than I'd like her to be, but she has those doting blue eyes and brown hair. There's only one other Faustini that has those traits, but this one was easier to grab."
For Sebastian, those words were especially harmful and enraging. "That's the only thing you'll be able to do, because before you even do so I'll be down there and I'll-"
"What'll you do? Will you track my phone?" Giuseppe laughed and as he spoke, Sebastian heard a window roll down. "We both know that's not going to happen, because unlike Rafael, I can actually throw something off of a bridge."
"Wait, what do you mean-" Sebastian was cut off by the sound of a splash. Sebastian could only assume Giuseppe had thrown his phone over the bridge, rendering it useless to track.
Lancelot, Lacey and Zinnia were atop a building next to the address Sebastian suggested they look at. Zinnia held the device as unlike Lancelot, she'd managed to make it work. "Oh yeah, they're down there." She announced, reading the information received.
"I'm going in there." Lancelot said angrily.
"Wait." Zinnia ordered with no expectation that Lancelot would listen to her. He however did and remained put, forcing her to speak up. "We have to plan what we do first, do we go in there and shoot carelessly? What if there are other people there?" Lancelot didn't answer her. She began to become more sympathetic. "I understand you love your brother, we're going to get him out of there no matter what, but we need to make sure we get out as well."
"One of us should pretend to be with Ramona Espina." Lacey suggested. "And I mean you, Zinnia. Lance won't pass as one of their acquaintances, he looks too much like Leo."
"Of course." Zinnia accepted without question. "You guys should listen in, though, just in case he has backup. It's unlikely due to the lack of other phones on the radar, but just in case."
Both Lacey and Lancelot nodded in agreement. "Thanks again for the help, Zinnia."
"It's nothing." She said softly before exiting the building through the fire escape's stairs and travelling underneath.
Stefano locked his apartment door as he himself went to evacuate. Having previously been tied up by Giuseppe and left in a locked bathroom in order to be framed, he had become anxious and unable to think clearly. The only solution in his mind was to fly back to Italy.
As he turned away from his door and begun his walk down to the car park, he passed a young woman that he had to do a double take on. "Vittoria?" He questioned.
"You recognised me." She smiled calmly.
Unlike Vittoria, Stefano replied with panic. "Oh my God, everyone thought you were dead! What happened? Does your family know you're okay? Have you spoken to Ezio?" He questioned.
"They don't need to know anything, I needed to see you before I saw them. We have something important to discuss." Vittoria almost began to tear up out of sheer happiness. Stefano was unsure of what she was hinting at, so in order for him to understand, she put her hands on her stomach. "What are we going to name our baby?"
After Charles' security arrived, Sebastian took off on his quest. His first stop was Dina's house. The gates were easy to pass through as well as the front door. At this point, Dina didn't care too much for anything and her prior prejudices against Sebastian did not appear. "Hey." She greeted casually. "Oh my God, Sebastian, I have been enveloped in this new book." He looked at her hand and saw a thick memoir. "It's written by Landon Laiture's ex wife. You know, I always told everyone he gave me a little bit of a gay vibe, but nobody believed me. You should see what she writes about Leo."
Sebastian gulped as he braced himself, he had to act somewhat engaged and play along with Dina in order for him to continue what he needed to do. "I don't think you should be supporting a book that's written about a party that can't defend themselves. Leo's grieving, he doesn't need that. Don't forget that you'll soon be in the same position when Giuseppe's caught, everyone and their grandmothers will be writing books to capitalise on that hype." Sebastian expresses his opinion which hushed Dina and changed her perspective completely.
"What do you want, Sebastian?" She wondered softly, placing the book down.
"I need to speak with Karina." Sebastian explained and Dina looked towards the stairs. Karina stood at the very top step, afraid to come down as she knew what they were discussing. Sebastian wasted no time in asking her what he needed to. "Where's your father, Karina?"
"I'm not telling you a thing." Karina raised her chin.
Sebastian went towards the stairs. "Are you sure about that?" He pondered, taking slow yet powerful steps. "Because you may not have another choice if you want to stay out of prison."
"I haven't done anything wrong." Karina defended herself, though Sebastian's presence was getting to her.
"I believe that, you're just a child who got tangled up in the wrong thing. You don't warrant punishment." Karina seemed to be calmed. "However, allowing your father to get away with his crimes does warrant punishment."
"Well, what about her?" Karina pointed to her mother. "She cheated on him, where's her punishment?"
"Murder isn't bad if the other party was unfaithful?" Sebastian repeated her logic. "Do you hear yourself? Where were you when Roman's family drama was going down?" Karina didn't say anything, Sebastian pursed his lips. "You know, I don't need anything big, just something like- I don't know- his phone."
"The police searched everything, nothing's available that hasn't been taken down to the station." Dina interjected.
"I'm sure they've missed something." Sebastian snickered. "Did they even bother to search your impressive garage?" Upon thinking of their cars, a thought crossed Sebastian's mind. "Do you know what kind of car he drives?"
Karina bit her lip before fessing up. "I saw him take the black BMW. The small one."
"Do you have their plates?" Sebastian questioned both of them, looking over his shoulder to see if Dina has an answer, they both shook their head. "Have you had something like a Bluetooth device connect to it?"
"I had my phone connected to it once." Karina reluctantly informed him.
"Perfect. Give me your phone." Sebastian ordered and Karina refused. "Come on, Karina, right now, you doing as I say is probably the only thing that's going to stop your mother from shipping you to military school."
"I thought you said I didn't warrant punishment!" Karina yelled in outrage.
"Yes, but your mother has a mind of her own." Sebastian said blatantly, only deciding to follow up the statement once he felt Dina's eyes' burning glare in his back. "And we love her for it, of course. Look, Karina, you may as well give me the phone because we already know neither of you can handle the thought of a seven year old girl's blood being on your hands."
Karina was shocked as it was the first time hearing of Luciana's state. "What are you talking about?"
"Did I not tell you?" Sebastian looked back and saw that Dina was also surprised. "Giuseppe took Luciana. If you don't give me this phone or yours, then it'll technically be your fault-" Before Sebastian finished his sentence, the phone was out of Karina's pocket and placed in his hand. "Goodness, I should have started with that." Sebastian remarked on how quickly they'd changed their minds as he left with the phone, not saying goodbye to either of them.
