She walked in and saw their precious princess on of ground. She was bleeding and bruised and was on the verge of passing out. She scooped up the injured girl lightly and carried her out of the throne room. The maid was ordered to clean up the mess. Irina found Karma waiting outside of the Throne Room. His eyes widened when he was the injured girl.

"Will she be okay?" he asked.

"She should be fine. We have a palace doctor who takes care of her," Irina replied, holding the beaten-up girl close to her. Even though she was not this girl's mom, she cared for the girl just like one. Her heart broke every time she saw Nagisa like this. The girl was so kind and deserved to be treated so much better.

Karma followed Irina towards wherever the doctor's room was. When they entered, there was a girl his age sitting at a desk, pouring liquid into a graduated cylinder and mixing it together. The room was quiet and the girl noticed that there were people in the room and shot up from her chair.

"A-again?" she asked.

"Yes. I'm afraid so," Irina replied.

"That's the third time in two weeks. Let me call Itona. He can patch her up while I make her some medicine," the girl said, beginning to rush around the room after calling someone.

After a few minutes, a boy with grey hair rushes into the room along with a brown-haired man. The man is ordered to guard the door and the boy sets to work fixing up Nagisa. After a while, Nagisa's cuts had been cleaned and the deeper wounds had been dressed. Now, she was just sleeping peacefully. The boy stood up and walked towards Karma and Irina.

"He knows?" the boy asked.

"No need to worry, Itona. He's trustworthy," she replied.

"I trust you to keep to that. Hey, Okuda, is Nagisa's medicine ready yet?" the boy named Itona called and was shushed by Irina.

"Yes, I just finished it," Okuda replied.

She carefully woke the sleeping girl up. Nagisa's eyes fluttered open, glazed from sleep. Okuda handed her a cup and told her to drink up. Nagisa obeyed the girl and drank the liquid, before setting the cup down. She looked around and everyone smiled at the innocent girl. Karma realized how much this princess mattered to her people.

The maid walked in with a new outfit for Nagisa. It was a long white dress, with long sleeves and a high collar. The maid also tied up the Nagisa's hair in pigtails. Even in the plainclothes, Karma thought Nagisa looked beautiful. He was instructed to help her for the rest of the day.

"Is there anywhere you wish to go?" he asked.

"The library," she replied, using him for support, she was limping a little.

"Sounds good, that way you can sit down and no one who doesn't know ahs to worry."

"O-oh. I forgot, you know everything now," she said, smile fading, "Do you hate me now?"

"No! How could I hate you? If anything, I hate your mother now. You are such a kind person, Nagisa, nobody could ever hate you."

"Really?"

"Of course."

"My mom hates me, though."

"Don't worry about her."

He helped Nagisa sit down in a chair when they reached the library. He stayed standing up, though.

"Do you want anything?" Karma asked.

"Chocolate cake," the girl replied, making Karma laugh.

"You sound like a kid with a sweet-tooth."
