i start getting my cheer bag ready and then we head downstairs. my mom made us breakfast and we sit at the breakfast bar. i get served a plate and i'm just staring at it. i don't want to eat it will just make me fatter than i already am. hayden notices i'm not eating and says
h- annie why aren't you eating your food a- i'm just not that hungry h- ok but i don't know if i trust you
i just giggle at what he said, then we get up and start walking out of the door. we talk the whole way to school. when we get there we go in and walk through the hallway, i see caleb and we walk over to him. he is the captain of the football so he doesn't even need to tryout. and obviously hayden is going to get in, him and caleb are also like best friends.
a- hey caleb c- hey ann's, you excited for cheer a- yup, can't wait
i said that sarcastically, don't get me wrong i love cheer, but i'm just not in the mood today. the bell rings.

it's now lunch. kenzie, jayden and i are walking in the lunch room over to the boys. we go and sit at the table. i set next to hayden and kenzie, jayden sits next to connor and lauren, kenzie sits next to me and johnny and katie sits next to johnny and carson. as i'm sitting down i get a notification on my phone. i look at the notification and it's a text from hayden. it says, " why aren't you eating anything" i respond with "i'm not hungry". he looks up at me with these sad, disappointed eyes. he looks back down and texts me again " can you please eat, for me" i send back "ok ok, when i get home i will" he says " i want to watch you to make sure your eating" i say back " fine then come over".
k- are you guys texting each other, your sitting right next to each other. j- what are you guys even saying h- it's nothing k- mhmmm ok sureeee
the bell rings and it finally the end of the day. lunch is our last period. we all head to the locker rooms to get changed in our cheer outfits and football stuff.

jayden, kenzie and i are the captains so we are obviously on the team already. we get out to the field and meet the new freshman, juniors and seniors that are trying out. we are sophomores but we were the best on the team last year. we start going through role call.

she sounds sweet, she's also a sophomore maybe we can be friends. that danielle girl was so rude and she's a freshman so she needs to calm down.

she's a freshman and a friend of danielle's, there both so mean, i just seen them push people out of there way. they think they're all that. i continue doing role and we finish. first me jayden and kenzie show the routine to them. now we are sitting at a table seeing who makes it. although danielle and lexi are mean and ignorant, they're pretty good. ok so we got the people we want on the team, they are riley lewis, mads lewis, danielle cohn, lexi drew, nadia turner, emily skinner, emma chamberlain, avani gregg,and anna cathcart. emily, emma and avani are seniors so they are the oldest on the team. we tell them who makes it and then the rest leave. we start going over the routine and we are at the part where me, jayden, and nadia get thrown in the air to do the stunt. my spotters are danielle, lexi and emma. while i'm getting thrown i do my trick and get caught. luckily they caught me because tbh i thought danielle and lexi were gonna drop me. practice is almost over for cheer and football, there is about 3 minutes left. until the 3 minutes are over we are doing round off back tucks. i'm doing mine and out of now where i feel lightheaded, i'm about to hit the ground until i get caught. i look up and it's hayden. we are staring into each others eyes and then our lips connect. i feel so many sparks flying it feels like a movie. we pull apart and he says
h- annie i- i love you a- i love you too h- do you want to be my girlfriend a- i would love to
then he kisses me again. the whole cheer squad and football team are aweing.
