Chapter 2

"Well school finishes in 1 week better think quickly and im a laywer at my families own firm. He said with pride.

I remembered that firm and couldnt believe who he was, his family were millionaires. Why was he at our school ?

"What brings you to our school?" I said

"Who is interviewing whom, well thats enough I should go now. It was a pleasure Miss Highland." He said as he pulled his hand out to shake my mine.

He got up and walked toward the principles office buttoning up his suit. I started to panic hoping I didnt ruin anything for our school. I got up and walked to see Mary, who was probably still with Ian. I smiled at her while she sat on Ians lap, she yelled out "Since when does kathy leave class?"

I waited till I was closer and explained to her what had happened, Ian was watching her smiling as she spoke toward me. Ian was a good guy I could see how much he loved her. The bell had rang for second period and I was the only one who moved. As I walked to class Mary yelled" Im going to Ians after school Kathy so don't wait for me at the gate, love you!" I turned and smiled toward her.

I didnt mind walking alone, just hated going home, I decided to visit my sister Stacy at her work at the medical centre. Stacy was a first year radiologist and at the end of the year she is planing on leaving to LA as she was offered a full time job there. I was so jealous of her but at the same time so happy that she was getting out of that house.

I sat in English next to Harry a good friend of mine who was telling me about his motorcycle and how excited he was to finish school and start a new chapter in his life.

When school finished, I began to walk to see Stacy, it started to thunderstorm and rain heavily, just my luck. I placed my school bag on my head and ran. After 10mins of running the rain got heavier and my bag was soaked so I took it off my head and continued to walk as if it wasnt raining. As I was crossing the road a black range rover pulled up infront of me, I decided walked around it and saw Wade Wilson jump out of the car, before I could say anything he told me to get in. He seemed angry but why would I be the reason?

He looked at me so seriously "I am already soaking wet just get in the car and ill take you home."

I was confused why does he want to drive me home, I didnt ask. I could tell he was angry and so I didn't want to make him more angry I got in the front seat and said quietly "Thank you for the ride"

He stared at me and said "My pleasure, I just need to make a quick stop is that ok with you?"

I smiled "Take your time its your car"

He smiled back but I could tell he was still angry, I stared out the window looking as the rain got heavier and the thunderstorm got louder. I wanted to call my sister and let her no I was ok and to get her to advise mum I was going to be home soon but dad had taken my phone last week to give to a friend of his.

I asked him if I could borrow his phone scared he will think im weird that a 18 soon to be 19 year old girl didnt have a phone.

"Can I borrow your phone I just need to tell my sister im comin.."

Before I even finished my sentence he interrupted "yep right here." Removing his phone from his blazer pocket and handing it over to me.

I smiled and held his iPhone 6 in my hand, it was so nice I think he noticed me admire it and smiled at me.

I called Stacy's number and told her im getting a lift from a friend, I could hear screaming in the background. She must have gone home to stop my parents from fighting again. I hung up quickly and handed his phone back to him.

We arrived at a tall building he parked inside a carpark and looked at me for a while before speaking.

"I just need to run up and speak to my Father about a case im handling I wont be long" he said while in bulking his seat belt.

"Thats fine take your time, ill wait here" I said unsure of what else to say.

He got out the car and went on a nearby elevator, I sat looking around the car, I was impressed for a young man he had his life sorted out. After 40 minutes I saw Wade exit the elevator angrier than before. He got in the car and slammed the car door. He turned on the car and drove frusiously out the carpark. I stayed quiet for a while, it was almost 5:30pm and not that I wanted to go home, but I wondered if he was ever taking me.

I looked at him and asked if he was ok. He looked  at me and said "fine."

After a while he asked "ok were do you live, before you think I have kidnapped you" In a loud angry tone.

"Don't be rude" I said without even thinking about it twice.

He looked at me and smiled "im sorry Katherine, can I have your address please"

I looked at him and smiled slightly "Much better, turn left at the light."

"Yes mam" he smiled
