ignore the fear and you'll be fine

Start from the beginning

''poor arthur i imagine his little head is turning bright red with anger'' bastet teased her husband who glanced over to her as they carried on riding  he didn't reply but the little smirk he grew showed he heard he always did every word that left her lips was acted upon like they were written in the bible ''how about a race?'' he enquired watching as that glint in his wife's eyes grew like a flicker of silver adding to the beauty of her already rare and exotic eyes that schemed with a plan ''you know i'll win'' she tittered before whispering into her horse's ear whose tail flickered to meaghan boy  teasing him just as her owner was with her own man ''we'll see '' he chuckled sharing a look that could only be described as pure love one that many watched in jealousy written only in books yet they were blinded as much as Thomas was

''come on shelby'' she commanded the horse who reared up before taking off mud flying as her hooves stomped on the ground never stopping but picking up speed as meaghan boy raced after her the riders giggling and chuckling. a sight to see two of the most dangerous people laughing as they chased one another like newlyweds

passing jeremiah who was preaching the three shared a nod and the preacher smiled seeing the love the resided in the two they passed three blind men who held a tin out for money to which thomas gave ''good morning mr. and mrs shelby '' the police greeted tipping their hats to which thomas nodded back at

putting the horse's back in their stables the two made their way to the betting shop hand in hand as people greeted them yet all was return was a nod from thomas who opened the door for

his wife who unlike her husband keep her hat on the two walked into the kitchen where the youngest of shelbys was sat throwing something in the fire which neither of the two missed   ''fin?'' thomas called out the boys name in question as his wife smirked smelling the boys little secret

''arthurs mad as hell'' the boy tried to distract his brother who walked closer bending down to pick up what finn was trying to burn which had been a fag showing it to the boy before throwing it back in the fire

''what does a ten year old know about hell,eh?'' thomas questioned the young boy ''im a eleven sunday'' finn whined back as thomas smiled at the cheek before moving back over to his wife who had been watching

with a soft smile one that he loved dearly, pulling back the curtains to two double doors they both opened them as bastet leaned closer to her husband ''i told you'' she sung into his ear before the noise of the hidden betting shop blocked out his answer they walked around watching as new bets were put in and written down

''tommy, bass, tommy look at the book'' john raced down spotting the two before showing the book ''all meaghan boy'' he beamed showing the bets placed on Thomas horse ''tommy!'' hearing the shouts of arthur made bastet roll her eyes before leaning close to her husband ''here comes the i told you so'' she teased him before walking off with john as her husband was told off but once he stormed off she knew to let him blow some steam off before going to see him but first she was feeling peckish

her heels stomped against the cobble ground as her eyes narrowed in a glare stalking forward like a panther on the prowl people ran .men, women children they knew not to get in her way now more then ever, horse's reared up in fear sensing the monster which was hidden under the skin of the beautiful woman,  the garrison felt the chill and knew before she even opened the doors that she was there and was not happy

the poor new barmaid watched as chatter quiet down to nothing the silence lingering eyes shifting wanting to run but knew it was to late

the bar maid was tempted to question but once she saw how pale her boss was she knew she wouldn't like the answer  yet it seems it was going to be answered anyway the garrison doors
