II: SLEEPOVER

"What?" She gave me a shocked face.

"I mean— Ugh... Nevermind, you can go home now." I said then I opened the door of the house.

"Yah. It's not that I don't want to, I just..."

"I don't have extra things." She scratched her nape.

"It's fine, forget what I said."

"I'm just gonna get my things, I'll be right back." She said then she immediately made her way to their house.

"Yah! You don't have to!!!" I shouted, expecting her to cancel what she's about to do, but she just ignored me and continued walking.

I entered the house and slammed myself to the couch.

I literally don't know why I asked her to sleep with me tonight. Maybe, because I feel safe when she's around???? AISH! THAT WAS A DUMB MOVE, MINARI!

"Aish. I better change my clothes." I stood up and wore my sweater and pajamas.

I made my way to the kitchen to cook something for us to eat later.

I should not mess this one, I don't wanna get embarrassed at her.

[A few moments later]

*Ring*

Maybe that's her.

"You can do this, Mina." I said then I took a deep breath.

I opened the door and I saw Chaeyoung standing right in front of me. She's wearing a sweater and pants, a bag, and she also brought a guitar. She looks really cute. How can she manage to be hot and cute at the same time???? WAIT— WHAT AM I THINKING???????

"Yah, you like me, don't you? Stop staring." I snapped back into reality.

"Aish. Why do you keep on bragging your looks?" I said then she entered the house and puts her guitar and bag aside.

"Yeah, you're good looking, stop bragging it already." I whispered.

"If you have looks like this, won't you be proud?"

Good thing she didn't heard what I said.

But wait, why did I even say that????

"Whatever. Let's eat." I said then we sat down at the table.

"Yah. Did Jackson really cheated on you?" Chaeyoung broke the silence while we're eating.

"Yeah. He had a one night stand with some whore in the club."

I really hate talking about Jackson, it just makes my blood boil.

"Ooooh. So he's really an asshole. HAHA!"

"Yes, he is." We both laughed.

"Why do you want me to sleep with you?"

WHA— I ALMOST CHOKED ON MY FOOD.

"Oh shi— You okay?" She gave me a glass of water. I drank it and gave her a thumbs up.

COME ON, MINARI. THINK OF OTHER REASONS TO TELL HER.

"Uhhhh... because... I want to know you more. And also, mom isn't here so..." I awkwardly laughed.

After we ate our dinner, we brushed our teeth and decided to go to sleep.

"Why do you have so many penguin stuffs here? Penguin slushies, pillows, almost everything is penguin." Chaeyoung said as she roamed her eyes around my room.
