My First Date Went A Little Like This

I may never been on a picnic before but i think you take sandwiches and stuff like that on a picnic .as cam opens the basket he pulls out containers , their was about 5 of them and their looked to be more containers on the basket as well.

Cam opens one and I saw tacos but they looked way different from the ones I had before .

"Shrimp tacos with pineapple salsa, I have black bean salad to go with this . "

I look at them and know I'm going to be stuffing my face with these tacos first . The other containers had salad , pasta and red velvet cup cakes witch I was eying as I was eatting the other food.

As we were eatting we started talking , like real talking . Not asking like your favorite color or tv show .

" do you ever think about your mom ? "

This was one of the first real questions he asked me and it caught me Off gaured . I did think of my mom , I had a photo of her on my mirror in my bed room and look at it every day before school . But it's a hard question to say that to another , I think .

"Yeah , I do ... I miss her even though I miss the thought of her . Me being only 2 I don't remember much , If I didn't have a photo of her I wouldn't know what she looked like you know"

I played with the wrapper of the cupcake looking down , seeing the gold bracket that I had hidden . It being mom's and it helped me when I had freak outs at school.

I felt cams hand played on my hand that was fiddling with ny neck lace . I look at his hand on mine , it felt good making my hand stop making me look at cam .

"I'm sorry , I should be talking about light stuff " he gives a sad like laugh and I feel bad to put him in an awkward mood now . As I looked down cam stood up as a song came on , I look up to see cam smiling and holding out his hand for me .

I took it and walked to the grass and started to dance , one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hand . His free hand on my back . We started to move to the music , the song that I didn't know till I heared the singer .

I've never danced with anyone before and dancing like a ball room dance was like a swan dancing with a stick . I looked down to see where my feet were going .
