Angry worried cuddle things? I dunno I'm an awkward person

Start from the beginning

"Damn it. Mari, relax, it's me." she kept thrashing and her skin was hot. so that explains the shivering and the nightmare. Great. "Mari, get up please."

"Stop it." she mumbled "back OFF Adrien! Not again! Stop hitting me! Stop!" she thrashed more violently. Damian grabbed her and held her close, just like the first night she met him. After a while she gave in and started crying in her sleep. He sat on the bed with her curled up in his lap and she eventually stopped crying and mumbled in his shirt. "Go away Adrien, I found someone better." His face burned and he looked back down at his lap. He smiled and laid down.

"Hey Tikki? Can you wake me up before Mari gets up? I don't want her to see me and get mad." the small kwami nodded and smiled. Damian kissed her on the top of her head. "Night Mar."

"Damian...... Psst Damian......wake up.... Damian." Tikki was trying to get him up. It was 10 am. "Damian, you asked me to get you up, now come on lazy bones." she tugged at his hair and he scowled. He opened his eyes and yawned. "It's about time! You guys have to get ready!" Damian woke up completely and slid himself out from under Mari but he forgot. She was clingy in her sleep. He huffed, annoyed and tried to pry her off without waking her up, but failed miserably. She woke up.

"Damian? I thought you were mad at me? How did you gt in here?" she sleepily rubbed her eyes and yawned. Aww. She giggled. Shit she heard that. She laughed again and he pouted.

"Why can't my thoughts be mine?" she laughed.

"Becuase, this is too funny." he pouted again. "I thought you were mad at me though?" he rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"In a way, you were right, I'm a sore loser, but I walked in and you were shivering on the floor with a fever. Speaking of," he put his hand on her forehead and knit his eyebrows. She smacked his hand away.

"I'm FINE." Tikki popped up holding a thermometer. Damian stuck it in her mouth before she could protest.

"Marinette, you have a 102.6 degree fever" (in ferenheit 39.3 in celcius for you non Americans) Marinette rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Damian gave the kwami a look. She gulped and flew off to most likely chat with Plagg. Marinette went to stand up to go downstairs but Damian picked her up and put her on the bed. She glared at him.

"I'm not sick, it's just stress." he crossed his arms and stood his ground.

"You have a high fever. If it's not down by tonight, you can't go." her jaw dropped.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me. Stay in bed." she glared daggers at him.

"No, I have stuff to do today." He pulled up the chair.

"It can wait until you are better." she huffed and pulled the blankets over her head.

"I'll just suffocate myself then." he chuckled and pulled it back down.

"Now I can't see your beautiful face." her face went red.

"Shuddup" he laughed and she tried to stand up. Everything went fuzzy. He clenched his jaw, annoyed and caught her.

"You are aware you are less than a point away from going to the hospital?" she rolled her eyes.

"This happens all the time. I'm used to it." he raised his eyebrows and dragged her back to the bed because she was laying limp. He eventually just slung her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. She huffed and grabbed his arm. "Fine, if I have to stay, so do you." and she flipped him over her side. "I know for a fact you aren't worried about getting sick becuase you know I'm not sick." he frowned.

"I don't care. You are unwell. You can run the orders tomorrow. Stay." She huffed and crawled up in his lap and crossed her arms he laughed. "So birdboy, you come here often?" he chuckled.

"Recently, yes." she hit him in the face with a pillow while he laughed. Tim knocked on the door and opened it. He smiled.

"Oh good, you two are ok now. You ready for tonight?" Damian's face went serious.

"I told Marinette that if her fever doesn't go down then she's not going."

"Fever?" Damian nodded and Marinette pouted with her arms still crossed. "Stress or sick?" she held up the first finger and he nodded. "She can go Damian, it's nothing to worry about. Everyone gets stressed out." Damian raised an eyebrow.

"Does everyone lay on the floor shaking with a fever and shivering from a nightmare?" Tim raised his arms in surrender.

"Ok, Mari, you're on your own little buddy. I'm just going to go tell Jason why you're still up here." Tim walked out before she could stop him. She facepalmed and stuck an accusing finger in his face.

"This is YOUR fault buster." he smirked and raised an eyebrow.

"Really now?" she pouted and nodded.

"It's you and your stupid hair and your pretty eyes and your annoying hot face." his eyes sparkled with humor at her outburst. He took the hand in his face and pulled it down.

"So what are you trying to get across here?" he ran a hand through his hair.

"It's just that you-, UGH." he chuckled and grabbed her red face and kissed her on the forehead.

"It's ok Habibti, now rest. The more sleep you get the quicker the fever will go away." she balled up his shirt in fists and fell asleep in his lap.
