"That's the thing. I've been giving him space since we got back and I don't know what's wrong with him." Alyssa said before Steve connected their lips.

"Then leave me here and go talk to your brother." Steve said before rolling off her and going back to the position he was in before she came in.

"That was a terrible distraction." Alyssa said standing up.

"Come back after and get a better one." Steve winked tickling her making Alyssa giggle and close the door.

She walked down the corridor to find Tony and Bruce in the lab.

"I told you I didn't need your help!" Tony said as she walked in.

"JARVIS lock the door." Alyssa said earning a "yes ma'am" from the AI.

"What is wrong with you Anthony?" Alyssa said using her confident voice.

"Full names.. Okay Alyssa-Rose, Why must you mettle in my life?" Tony asked shaking his head.

"Bruce, do you like the science trio?" Alyssa asked the man ignoring Tony.

"Well, I love it. We finish work more efficiently." Bruce chuckled earning a glare from Tony.

"Did I do something?" Alyssa asked sincerely crossing her arms.

"No." Tony said coldly.

"What happened in Sokovia?" Alyssa asked quieter.

"I saw you die Ally. You looked at me and you asked me 'why did I let this happen to you?'" Tony exclaimed making Alyssa slightly flinch.

"That witch bitch got in your head." Alyssa said before slowly cupping her brothers face, "I'm still here T. I'm not leaving you okay?" she spoke slowly. He looked at her before hugging her tight.

"I can't lose you too." he kissed the top of her hair.

"You have nothing to worry about T. I'm always protecting myself and so is the team." she spoke from his chest.

"Especially Cap." Tony added making Alyssa roll her eyes, "Okay get off of me. Moments over." Tony ruffled her hair as he let go.

"What's the rumpus?" Bruce asked from his stance.

"Well, the scepter. You see, we were wondering how Strucker got so inventive. So, I've been analyzing the gem inside you may recognize." Tony said walking to our control panel and showing a 3-D image of JARVIS.

"Jarvis." Bruce greeted

"Jarvis." Alyssa followed greeting also.

"Miss Stark. Doctor." Jarvis returned the greeting.

"Started out, JARVIS was just a natural language UI. Now he runs the Iron Legion. He runs more of the business than anyone besides Pepper." Tony said directly to Bruce and I. "Top of the line."

"Oh."

"Yes."

"I suspect not for long." JARVIS intervened. Tony then pulled up a blue 3-D AI image.

"Meet the competition."

"Woah." Alyssa spoke in almost a whisper.

"It's beautiful." Bruce spoke breathlessly.

"If you guys had to guess, what's it look like it's doing?"

"Like it's thinking. I mean this could be a...it's not a human mind, it..." Bruce said walking closer to 3-D image.

"Mmm-Mmm." Tony replies to Bruce turning to Alyssa.

"I mean, look at this! They're like neurons firing." Alyssa said observing the image.

"Down in Strucker's lab I saw some fairly advanced robotics work. They deep-sixed the data, but...I gotta guess he was knocking on a very particular door." Tony explained to the two.

"Artificial intelligence." Alyssa and Bruce spoke at the same time.

"This could be it. This could be the key to creating Ultron." Tony said walking closer to the two. Bruce chuckled at the statement and Alyssa shook her head.

"I thought Ultron was a fantasy." Alyssa looked at him with a side eye.

"Yesterday it was. If we can harness this power, apply it to my Iron Legion protocol." Tony spoke.

"That's a mad-sized if." Bruce walked in the other direction.

"Our job is "if." What if you were sipping margaritas on a sun-drenched beach turning brown instead of green? Not looking over your shoulder for VERONICA." Tony pleaded with the man.

"Don't hate, I helped design VERONICA." Bruce added.

"As a worst-case measure, right? How about a best-case? What if the world was safe? What if next time aliens roll up to the club, and they will, they couldn't get past the bouncer?" Tony said making the two contemplate.

"The only people threatening the planet would be people?" Alyssa asked.

" I want to apply this to the Ultron program. But JARVIS can't download a data schematic this dense. We can only do it while we have the scepter here, that's three days, give me three days." Tony pleaded with the two.

"So you're going for artificial intelligence and you don't want to tell the team?" Bruce asked skeptically.

"Right. That's right, you know why, because we don't have time for a city hall debate. I don't want to hear the "man was not meant to meddle" medley. I see a suit of armor around the world." Tony spoke with authority.

"Sounds like a cold world, Tony."

"I've seen colder. This one, this very vulnerable blue one? It needs Ultron. Peace in our time. Imagine that."

"Tony, we can't lie to our friends. This kind of science is way beyond us." Alyssa said crossing her arms.

"Since when are you the type to run away from an equation. You are literally the smartest girl I know. The three of us can do this. Please guys." Tony put up a pout before sticking his hand out.

"Fine." Bruce said putting hand on Tony's.

"This is so gonna come bite us in the ass later." Alyssa said before putting her hand on Bruce's.

"The Science Trio is Back! Yes!" Tony said making the two laugh.
