Chapter Twelve

Judith was more let loose kind , the type of person who would find happiness in smallest of things.

I remembered the annoyance I felt when I saw her with Ryan. It was completely uncalled for. I wanted rip him off her.

What the fuck happened to me then!

I shook my head.

Judith hadn't answered me yet and was laughing.

"Sorry. I couldn't help myself. It was funny."

"So?"

"No we are not together. But I used to have a huge crush on him."

That didn't make it better.

"Used to?"

"Yeah. When I was like younger. From about the age of 6-14."

Ohh

"What happened after that?"

A sad look came over her face like she was remembering something.

She sighed.

"I thought it would be cool if I just told him."

"And ?" I pressed.

I shouldn't be prying but for some rediculous reason, I had no idea about what the reason was , I wanted to know.

"He is my brothers bestfriend. They are super close. So Ryan said no because he thought it was wrong to Justin. He said I was a child and I would be over it."

Good. Ryan sounded like a nice guy now.

But Judith didn't seem quite convinced by the idea herself.

"So are you over him?"

She seemed to be thinking.

"Yeah , I think I am."

The way she sounded I was sure she was not over him.

I didn't like it. I didn't know why. I didn't want to know why either. I didn't like it .

I take back my "Ryan sounded like a nice guy."

Micheal made us shoot 2 scenes back to back.

This was the third scene. We would be done after this.

We both had to lie on a bed. Simple.

Sleeping. Simple.

The alarm would ring. Ok

Judith had to lean over me to turn it off. Cool.

When I read I had no idea at all how uncool the whole thing was going to be.

The lying on the bed , acting to be sleeping part was okay.

Everything went wrong after the alarm went on.

"Caleb"

She calling him out in her semi sleep to turn it off.

I was playing Caleb who in his sleep didn't respond to her call.

"Caleb."

"Fine I'll do it myself."

Judith leaned over me to turn it off just like in the scene. And it was not okay.

Her smell , all floral hit me in full force. Exactly as it had when we danced but with more intensity.

Christ.

Added to the torture was the fact that she was basically lying on top of me.

You were just supposed to lean over me , Judith. Not lie on top of me with half your body.

Judith was a friend. But I am a guy for god's sake. She was beautiful and was lying on top of me ,as wrong as it may sound , I was not made up of stone to not feel anything.

This is just torture.

Somebody please say cut.

"Cut."

Finally.

I quickly got off the bed , throwing Judith off me in the process.

She gave a scowl.

She was not going to understand even if told her and I didn't want her to think of me as a pervert.

So I just shrugged.

I need to get out of here. She was messing with my brain.

I need to go home and relax clear my brain a little bit.

It was the weekend. I won't have to see her for two days.

"Adam , did you hear me?" It was Micheal.

I had spaced out.

Shit.

"Sorry , what was it?"

"I am throwing a party to celebrate the success of the show . I'd told you when I called you."

Shit! There goes my plan.

She was obviously going to be there. She had to be.

"Yeah."

"There's just gonna be a few people. Only friends and family. I know you hate parties but you are coming , don't you dare protest."

Jeez.

Micheal can be so overbearing sometimes.

"Okay. God."

"You'll also get to meet my brother and the rest of the gang." Judith said sounding excited.

She had told me about her brother and Ryan's band.

The prospect of seeing them didn't seem so exciting to me now.

Because I was troubled with the idea of seeing Judith again.

I knew where this shit would end. It always started like this.

I hated it enough the first time to not go through it again.

I am going to try my best to keep my brain out of the places it shouldn't be at if I wanted to make the plans I had for myself happen.
