"I'm done playing games with you, you old salt," I growled, signaling for Kirishima to begin the first steps of our plan. Kirishima broke Tomura's desk in half with his arms, signaling for our backup to step in behind us. While Tomura was taken aback by the sudden destruction of his personal belongings, Sero came up behind us hand shot two strands of tape at Tomura's arms. The tape landed perfectly at his wrists and connected them to the wall. Sero then secured Tomura's hands in place with more tape. I walked up to Tomura and placed my hand on his face. This is too easy, I thought.
"Try and scream for help and I'll signal for one of my crew members to deafen your entire crew. You've no where to go, Tomura, and no more tricks to pull. With your death shall come the birth of freedom. I hope you enjoy the heat because where you're going is scorching," I snarled, letting small explosions begin to warm up in my palm.
"Ye don't want ta kill me, lad," Tomura spoke calmly, not at all concerned with how close to dying he was.
"Give me one good reason," I laughed, preparing myself to ignore his desperate attempts to keep his life.
"'Cause I'm the only one who knows where yee little girlfriend be. Ye thought she be dead? Why would I kill her when I could be doin' somethin' much more to me own enjoyment?" He snickered, causing anger to bubble inside me. I threw a punch and landed it right next to his face, leaving a dent in the wall behind him.
"What do you mean?!" I screamed.
"I'll make yee a deal, laddie," Tomura cooed. "Let me call Kurogiri over and I'll let him take ye to the wench. I haven't checked on her for a while now, so she might be dead for all I know, but if she be not then I will allow yee to walk away with her safely and we can part ways-- no harm done."
"What's in it for you?" I asked, skeptical of his claims but wanting so desperately for them to be true.
"Well I won't be heading to Davy Jones' Locker quite yet, me lad," he laughed.
"Captain... can you really agree to th--" Sero was cut off by Kirishima, who truly was acting out today.
"We will agree to this on one condition, Sero and I stay here with you. We won't release you until we have (L/n) heading back onto the Bakuhatsu. Try and pull any tricks, like capturing Bakugo, and I'll kill you in an instant," Kirishima threatened. I was honestly impressed with his quick thinking and demonstration of leadership.
"I guess that be fair," Tomura agreed. I rolled my eyes, since when did he ever care about being fair? "Kurogiri!" Kurogiri appeared within an instance and gasped at the pitiful sight his captain was in.
"Don't hurt these here fellas. Yer just going to take me lad, Bakugo, to see the young (L/n). If she be alive, he has me permission to leave with her." Tomura explained, not seeming to suggest a different agenda.
"But Captain are you sure?" Kurogiri asked, genuinely shocked. "If they're threatening to kill you, just let me take care of them."
"Nonsense, Kurogiri. Yee keep tell'n me to take responsibility for me actions, so here I be. Now, get it over with so I can have afternoon tea on time," Tomura commanded. With Tomura's word, Kurogiri opened up his portal and I stepped through.
On the other side, I stepped into a metal confinement. In front of me were metal bars, keeping something, or rather someone, inside. Inside of the cell was someone I thought I wouldn't be seeing again. Messy (h/c) hair fell sloppily over her face, covering the majority of it. Her clothes were torn and her coat and sword were sitting far away from her. Her hands were chained above her head and to the wall. Her feet were also shackled to the wall and her body appeared to be limp. I was cursing myself for not convincing everyone to leave Portland Ridge sooner, for maybe we could've made it in time to save her, when movement picked up in her body. I watched in terror as her body violently shook beyond her control, as sparks flew around her chains.
