KAYLA- 48. Lie lie lie

"Maybe. Or maybe not. Maybe it's Ruel!" Gon snarled and grabbed the phone. 

I tried to grab it away from him but he caught my hand and when I struggled to remove his grip he's actually breaking my arm. 

He's got strength and I whimpered in pain. 

"Ow! Gon. You're hurting me."

"If this is a man Kayla. I tell you. We're over!" He spat. 

I was scared it's my sister. And now I'm scared if it's not gonna be my sister. 

If it's Ruel? That's impossible! How can he have my number! I didn't give him.

"Ow Gon let go of me. I swear that's a wrong number! Please."

"Stop it Kayla! Why are you scared?!" He glared at me and I grabbed the phone with my other hand. Applying my real strength and I managed to grabbed it away from him and placed it back. 

I was relieved but when I looked at Gon. I'm deadass dead again.

He's staring at me like he's about to kill me. 

After a couple of seconds. The phone rang again and this time Gon actually pushed me hard and I landed on the bed and he gave me a death glare.

"Don't try me babe." He said. The coldest tone I've heard from him. 

He went back to the telephone that's ringing wildlly and he placed it on his ears. His hand noticeably trembling. Fear? Anger?

"Hello?" He starts.

My heart is beating so fast. I really think it's my sister.

If she called there's an emergency in my house. She needs me and I have to get her. 

Gon looked at me, he inhaled deeply. He covers one part of the telephone as he utters some words.

"Im breaking up with you." He says. 

Wait what?

Break?

It's a man?! 

Who?! The fuck? Who the fuck is that man?!

What!?

Ruel?!

"This is her boyfriend you're speaking to-- wait!"

He stops. My heart stops too.

"Dad?!!" He gasped.

Dad?! His Dad? Or mine!!?

"Why are you calling my girlfriend?! " He says and turns to me. "Kayla?! What the Fuck?! My Dad really?!" 

My mouth hanged.

"Huh?!" 

"Oh my God Dad! Then you could've just called me!" He says and I'm so confused. My heart went stable but I don't know what's going on.

"Geez!! I know. We're just, we're in a middle of something." He says and he put his other hand on his waist.

"No! We're not doing that!" He spat with a flushed face as he glances at me.

"You don't have to know everything Dad."

"Really?! I- Are you?! Like right now?!" He says. 

His face brightened and he turned towards me.

"What!? For real?! Yes. Of course Dad! See you!" He says. He placed the telephone back and he's got a smile on his face. 

"Babe. Dad's here!" He says in a cheery voice.
