BROKEN (the list)

Nineteen

Staring at his hard ridgy face
She could recall flashes of him coming to the house almost every weekend to work in the basement with her dad.

He would always bring her presents and goodies...
She liked having him around, he was always jovial and bringing gifts

He had once brought a teddy bear for her on a weekend

"But uncle miley.... Its not even my birthday yet why are you buying me a gift"

"It doesn't have to be your birthday before I can shower you with presents cupcake..... "

"But why ... "
She had asked confused

"Why.... Because I love to see you smile and I know that present makes you smile"

"Yes I love getting presents"
She giggled

"Good girl, don't worry I'll keep spoiling you with lots and lots of present "

"Yippie"

"Now go play with your cute Teddy, what are y going to call him "

"Uhhhm..... I'll call him Mr chubby"

"Cool" he gave her her hi_five and ruffle her hair

It seemed like forever ago but she recalls like it was yesterday.

And the night when everything went done..... Even though she try to build a wall to surround her past it still keeps her up all night and set her emotions ablaze.... The reason she is still struggling and doing this damn job in the first place is so that she can at least find herself after avenging her parents because nothing else seem to make sense other than that

Father was right....
How was she going to truly understand everything if she has refused to visit the past... No matter how painful it must have been

Catalina and Daniel Ross were Sam's parents, she was born into a loving family and raised by wonderful parents. .

The first eleven years of her life was definitely the best of her life.
She was an only child for long time until the beginning of a new year when her mom announced she was pregnant and Sammy was going to get a baby brother or sister

Her dad was always working, especially when  he got 'The list' case. He became really restless and occupied. But he was still a wonderful father

Catalina on the other hand was a full housewife, she couldn't keep any job because of her nervous breakdowns and panic attacks but whenever she's around Sam or Dan, she feels safe

So she was always around and Sam enjoyed being with her. She loved to cook,  she was always trying on New things

On that fateful night
As sam recalled
They had come a day earlier to pick sam from summer camp. She was excited to see them and happy to be back home but she didn't understand why several bags were packed

"Mommy why are there so many bags, are we going somewhere "

"Yes baby.... We are going away for sometime "

"Away..... But where are we going "

"Somewhere nice''

"Like where... "

"Look Sammy, can you just help pack the rest of the toiletries..... I will explain everything to you later so just don't bug me pls''

She smiled lightening up her warm brown eyes
Catalina was heavily pregnant now, anytime from now she could be having the baby

Dan on the other hand was down in the basement with his papers and files and his recordings. There was so much tension in the house lately and Catalina was getting really worried
