"A prince..." Shanna muttered. She poked him in the cheek two times. Bridgette had just told her the story of the mermaid princess who fell in love with a pirate prince yesterday for her bedtime story. The mermaid princess saves the pirate prince, and nurses him back to health. "Prince-sama, are you going to wake up?" she asked. Mommy said to let her know when he wakes up, so Shanna will wait for Prince-sama to wake up! The little girl decided.
"...san...."
Shanna leaned over to the boy. "Prince-sama what did you say?" she asked.
"...Cora...san....." the boy muttered. He seemed like he was in pain. His brows were twitching and his face scrunched up. Soon, the boy opened his eyes. "Cora-san...."
"Prince-sama you're awake!" Shanna exclaimed. "Mommy! Prince-sama is awake!" The boy groaned at the loud high pitched voice.
"Who are you?" the boy asked weakly. "Where am I? Prince?" He coughed softly a few times, and pressed his hand to his lips.
"You're awake! Thank goodness!" Bridgette exclaimed as she walked in holding a bowl of porridge in her hands. "Please eat this, it'll warm you up. Shanna get off the bed!"
"Okay..." Shanna mumbled obediently as she slid off the bed.
Law pushed himself up, holding back a cough, and when he pushed the blanket off of himself, he then realized he was buck naked. "AAAH!" the boy screamed. He immediately lifted the covers back up to cover himself.
"Oh! Sorry about that! Your clothes were wet so I took them off for you. You can borrow some of my clothes in the meantime," Bridgette apologized.
"Prince-sama your face is all red," said Shanna.
"W-Well no sh- duh! Who wouldn't be if they're stripped naked by some stranger?" Law demanded. "Also, who are you calling a prince?!" Bridgette raised her brows in amusement. Shanna is calling the boy a prince? That's so cute. The boy actually stopped himself from cursing in front of a child. The older woman then smiled gently at the boy. She placed the porridge on the bedside table, and grabbed a sweater from the closet and tossed it at Law.
"Wear this," she told him.
"It's pink," Law groaned.
"Well it's all I have. There are no males in this family you see," Bridgette said. She picked up Shanna, who was standing beside the bed. "Oh right, I'm Bridgette. This is my daughter Shanna. I haven't asked your name yet, boy."
"Law..." said the boy. "Trafalgar Law."
"Well nice to meet you Law!"
"Law-sama, are you my prince?!" Shanna asked, leaning her upper body on the bed.
"Hah?!"
...
Law, you better not die! I still haven't told you yet! I need to tell you again with my own mouth. Wait for me, Law!
Shanna ripped off the blazer and sun glasses. She ran past the wall and headed for the palace. "Pereperepere! Gatcha!" Shanna picked up her transponder snail. "Zoro?!"
"We got Luffy! We're heading for the palace right now!" Zoro shouted.
"Uuuhwhhhu!"
"WOULD YOU STOP CRYING ALREADY?!" Zoro shouted. Shanna's brows furrowed slightly. Is Luffy crying?! "Anyways, we're disguised as toys right now. Where are you?"
"I'm past the wall, heading over right now!" she replied. "I can already see the Coliseum."
She continued to run towards the palace, going along the plateau to the side where it faces the Coliseum. "I see you!" Zoro shouted. "Hey!!! Shanna!" Shanna stopped and looked around, until she saw a large cat with three swords waving at her. Along with the cat was a giant fish and a...frog? Must be Kinemon's doing, she thought. Shanna ran over to the three of them.
"Here Shanna-dono. Put this on your forehead!" Kinemon handed her a leaf. Shanna placed the leaf on her forehead, and POOF she now found herself in a dog suit. The four of them ran together side by side. Because of the suit they were wearing, every time they took a step there was a squish sound on the ground.
Zoro held a dwarf in his hand. "The SOP strategy of the captains is already underway," the dwarf said. It seems she is the one leading them towards the palace. "Look, we're here!" She pointed to the large grey brick built plateau which they've arrived at. "This lift takes you to the main hall of the royal palace. To enter you must show a 'pass' to the guard of the lift."
"Don't worry, I'll kick him away!" said Luffy.
"If you do that it'll cause the ruckus and the enemy will-" the dwarf was about to argue.
"Someone's coming our way," Shanna noticed.
"You're Straw Hat Luffy right?!" a woman covered in a white cloak approached them. Shanna's grip on her hammer tightened. Could it be an enemy? "I was waiting for you! I'll get you into the palace!"
The woman's name is Viola. She was the princess of this country before Doflamingo came and took over. Instead of the lift, she took them into a secret emergency passage that not even Doflamingo knows about. There is a pully that is used to carry cargo. The passage is a spiraling staircase that leads all the way to the royal palace. However, the place is so tall that you can barely see the top.
Zoro noticed a large rock laying on the bottom of the passage, so he told Luffy, "Take this rock and go to the top."
"Oh, that's a good idea!" Kinemon agreed. But Luffy didn't seem to quite understand it. "If you grab the chain and jump down, we'll be able to go up!" Kinemon explained.
"OOOH!" Luffy exclaimed. "Then I'm going!" He wrapped his long rubber arm around the rock, and with the other he shot upwards until he grabbed onto the very top, then the boy started flying up. Zoro, Kinemon, and Shanna sat on the basket for cargo.
"Hurry Luffy!" Zoro shouted.
"Hey Kunoichi, you should come here too!" Kinemon gestured for Viola to join them. The princess was a little bit baffled by their behavior, but reluctantly joined them in the basket.
While they were waiting for Luffy, Zoro said to Shanna, "You're here for Law, right?"
"After knowing what happened to him, I can't just sit back and do nothing," Shanna said. Zoro nodded understandingly. If it were Luffy, he would have done the same.
"I'm going down now!" Luffy's voice echoed from above. And suddenly, they felt the chains starting to rattle. The basket lifted from the ground, and the four of them started going up at an incredible speed. "YAHOO!" They saw Luffy on the way up, as he and the rock went down together. After they got to the top, Shanna helped Viola out of the basket.
"Luffy, we're up now!" Shanna shouted. Suddenly Luffy's hand shot to the top from below, and with a ZOOP, Luffy was up here with them. They quietly snuck out of the exit, and arrived at the royal palace, lower section. There was still a large wall with a big wooden gate. On the gate was the Donquixote jolly roger painted on it. The more Shanna looked at the jolly roger, the more it reminded her of the Heart Pirates.
"Is that the entrance to the palace?" asked Kinemon in a whisper.
Viola replied, "Not yet, it's the entrance to the lower castle rampart tower." She then gestured to another direction. "We mustn't be seen by the gate keepers. There's a secret entrance into the ramparts as well, let's go there." They were hiding behind a small building in front of the entrance. Zoro, Shanna, and Kinemon followed behind Viola, heading away from the entrance.
"Hmm? Where's Luffy-dono?" Kinemon suddenly halted. Uh oh...
"GOMU GOMU NO~~~" They all turned around, and to their horror there was Luffy in his koi costume, right in front of the entrance. His right arm blown up like a balloon. "GIGANT...." His fist strikes the gate, smashing it to pieces! "PISTOL!"
"Gyaaaaahhh!" the guards all screamed as they fell to the ground.
"WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING?!" Zoro shouted. He should be used to this by now, he really should be, so why is he still surprised?!
Luffy laughed as he waved at his friends. "It's open!"
"That's not the problem here!" the rest of them retorted.
Viola's brows knitted with a mix of shock and annoyance. "What's done is done, let's go! At this point it's faster to just go through the front!" Shanna, Luffy, Zoro, and Kinemon took off their disguises. There's no point in hiding now that Luffy's done it. Donquixote henchmen started swarming at them. Shanna's hammer spun in her hand, she swung it all the way around her body, and slammed it into one of the Donquixote pirates, knocking him into two other of his friends, and smashing all three of them into the wall. On the other side, Luffy stomped on one of the guys' face as Zoro slashed down anyone who stood in his way.
They ran along the stone built pavement. "Which way?!" demanded Luffy.
"Left!" Viola shouted. They turned left into a large empty alleyway! Stone walls on both sides, but there's a path in front.
"Wow totally empty! Just you wait Mingo!" Luffy shouted.
"Why aren't the guards chasing us?" wondered Shanna, looking back. Just as she looked back however, she bumped into Zoro who stopped right in front of her. "What the-"
"UWAAAAAHHH!" Viola and Luffy screamed when the wall started deforming into a gigantic, human like shape. Bricks turned into hands and face. "What the hell?!" Luffy exclaimed.
"IT'S PICA!" Viola screamed.
