Gotta catch 'em all (Ash x reader)

ch-11 A new region

I stood up, walking to the ground-type pokemon. I pet its head, as it leaned in, enjoying my affection. "Its alright Garchomp, Froakie is gonna be alright because we know its strong, right?" I said and it nodded. "Garchomp, how are you feeling? Froakie will be fine." Professor said as he pet Garchomp after me, as Froakie woke up, Garchomp turned its head back to the glass. 

"You can thank these people." Prof. said, as Garchomp turned around to see Ash and the others. Ash pet Garchomp while reassuring it as Bonnie also pet it. Then we all went to the lab yard, where the other pokemon were, Ash stayed.  Bonnie played with all the pokemon happily. "Hey, you're Y/n right?" A voice called out, making me look up from my phone. "Yeah, you're Clemont right?" he nodded. "I was wondering, what all pokemon do you have right now? And woah, is that a key stone?" He asked, looking at my wrist and I nodded. "Yeah, it is. I found some mega stones too, and gave them to my pokemon." I said. 

"Ooh~ Can I see all your pokemon? PLease Y/n please?" Bonnie came running to me, begging to see my pokemon. "All of them? I'm afraid not all my pokemon like to come out in front of people. You can meet the other 6 though!" I sent out Coco, Zip, Char, Ab, Lu and Bubbles. "Oh! Look a Pikachu! And a Greninja, and OH MY GOD! A Charizard!!" She cheered, hugging all the pokemon one by one. 

"Your Charizard, Lucario and Absol have mega stones? So cool!" Clemont exclaimed, making me chuckle. "Yeah, there's one more, but he doesn't really like humans." I said. "Can I see him? Please please please?" Bonnie begged. I looked at professor Sycamore, asking for permission whether or not I should let out my legendries, he just shrugged. "Upto you." He said. I sighed, and detached the master ball from my necklace, and took out my other three master balls. "Master balls?! Aren't they used for catching very very strong pokemon?" Clemont asked. "Yeah, come out Akai, Tia, Rai and Cress!" My legendries came out one by one, as the two siblings gasped. 

Akai: MewTwo
Tia: Latias
Rai: Raikou
Cress: Cresselia

"Legendary pokemon! I've always wanted to meet one!" they both exclaimed, as Bonnie hugged Cress and Rai, who seemed to enjoy her presence. Tia played around with her, and Akai, not really. He just stood by my side, watching Bonnie play with the other pokemon. "So, why'd you send me out little Y/n?" Akai asked. "That girl really wanted to meet you all, and she made a face I just couldn't resist, so I sent all of you out, it must feel good to be out of your pokeball right? I mean, I usually only send you out in the late afternoon when everyone's busy or late at night when everyone's asleep." I told. 

Ash also came and when he saw the legendries, he immediately ran to them, oh yeah, I don't exactly send them out often in front of others, so he really likes seeing them. Ash asked about what type of evolution he's working on. He told about mega-evolutions, and how he's researching upon Garchomp and my Absol, since he was the only one who volunteered to stay with professor, since the others really wanted to stay with me. After a few minutes, I felt someone watching us, and I immediately returned all my legendries. "Aww, why would you return them back?" Bonnie asked, but stopped when she saw the serious look on my face.

"I feel like something bad is gonna happen." I muttered. Just then, we heard a roar, and we all ran in that direction, after I returned my pokemon. We saw that it was Garchomp, and it had this weird thing around its neck, like a collar. It jumped out the window, after attacking us once. "Let's go after it." I said, running out of the lab, as Ash and the other two followed close behind. Froakie stood in front of Ash, and asked him if it could join us in saving Garchomp. Ash, obviously said yes. We tried to find it, and found it at prism tower. Ash, Clemont and Bonnie finally arrived.

"I'm gonna try to get near it." Both me and Ash said. "Huh? But that's dangerous!" Clemont said. "No, Garchomp is the one who's in danger. I've gotta get that collar off." Ash told. "I know! If getting near to Garchomp is what you need to do, I think I just came up with a way." Clemont said. "You did?" "Awesome!" both of us cheered. He led us to a emergency staircase where he used his science-gadgets to unlock the door. Suddenly, Garchomp sent a hyper beam at us. I pushed Ash out of the way as Clemont and Bonnie jumped to avoid the attack. I managed to dodge too. Now Clemont and Bonnie were left outside and me and Ash were trapped inside...

"Clemont Bonnie!" "Are you okay?" We asked. "Yeah, don't worry about us. Just get going." he said. We ran up the stairs. We finally made it, and looked at Garchomp, trying to approach it. "Hey Garchomp." Ash said softly as it looks at us. It suddenly threw a hyper beam and I pushed myself and Ash against the wall. "Please Garchomp, you need to calm down." I tried to reason. We both tried to approach it, but it flew up, to the top of the prism tower. 

"Hey Ash, the stairs!" I exclaimed, running towards the ladder (?) I grabbed Zap and jumped onto it, climbing as quickly as I could. I got up first, and pulled Ash up. "We're here to help Garchomp." We both said. It shot a hyper beam at us again, as we all dodged it. Zap was about to attack the dragon-ground-type pokemon, but Ash stopped him from doing so. I slowly approached Garchomp, softly singing 'flashlight', a song I wrote that always calmed me down. Its eyes turned back to normal for a few seconds, but the collar grew even redder as it started growing more crazy. 

It took a few steps away from me, and was about to fall of the building. "Froakie frubbles!" I said, and it surprisingly obeyed. It stuck its frubbles at Garchomp's feet. "Thanks." I said, and slowly approached the Garchomp again, singing the song again as its eyes turned back to normal. I hugged it gently while petting its head. "Zap, iron tail on the collar." I said. Garchomp fell to its knees, finally out of the collar's control altogether. Zap, Ash and Froakie ran to us, but the ground underneath Zap collapsed as he fell down. Ash ran and jumped to save his partner. "ASH! ZAP!" I yelled in worry. 

"Char! Save them!" I sent out my Charizard as she flew down, she caught Ash but couldn't save Zap. Suddenly, a pokemon that looked like a Blaziken came and caught Zap, and they all landed on the ground safely, I sighed out of relief. "Lets get you both back home." I said, helping Garchomp and Froakie back on the ground. As soon as we reached down, I ran and hugged Ash, burying my face in his hat. "You can't be so reckless! What if Char and that pokemon didn't save you both." I cried out. "I'm sorry..." he said, hugging back.

~Serena's pov~
^That girl... it couldn't be...^

(I'm sorry, but I decided to change my plans. Serena is falling for the reader. And I'm making Ash the jealous one, why? because its more fun that way! I think. But you won't be as dense as Ash, don't worry.) 

~Y/n's pov~ ~The next day~
We bid our goodbyes to professor Sycamore, who gave me and Ash a Kalos region pokedex. We turned around and something was thrown at Ash and I. We both caught it and looked at the culprit who threw it at us. It was Froakie. It rolled a pokeball towards us. It wanted us to catch it? "Fro, Froakie." it said. "You want one of us to catch you?" I asked, it nodded. I looked at Ash, and he looked at me. I made the 'you do it' expression and he smiled excitedly. He picked up the pokeball and said, "Hey, Froakie, you wanna come with us?" It hopped towards Ash, and tapped the pokeball, and now Froakie was Ash's! "Yes, I got a Froakie!" Ash cheered, doing his famous pose with Zap. We have a new friend.
