Genevieve's POV
I was standing in the field with all the Cullen's. We were waiting for the wolf pack to arrive. Emmett and Jasper were rough housing. Emmett was thrown across the field by Jasper. I expected Emmett to throw Jasper, but I was wrong.
"Again!" Emmett says
"Be careful, you two. I don't want you guys to get hurt even though you really can't"I told them
"Don't worry, Mom, "Jasper tells me
Esme walked over to me and stood next to me. Their was the sound of a car heading this way. It was the jeep Edward took to get Bella. They got out and Edward grabbed her hand. He then frowned seeing something on her wrist. It was the bracelet Jacob gave her.
"It's a graduation present"Bella tells him
Edward walks her over to me and Esme. Bella smiled at me and hugged me close to her. I laughed and hugged back. Bella stuck close to me as the wolves arrived.
"Hi, Jake"Bella greets the Russett wolf
Jacob made a scuff sound only for Sam to growl at him. Carlisle stepped forward towards the wolves. Alice walked over next to me and Bella.
"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He will teach us how to defeat them."Carlisle tells them
I looked at Jasper and saw him staring down the wolves. I never got to know the kid's pasts, so I got confused.
"They want to know how different the newborns are from us"Edward translates
"There a great deal stronger than us. Their human blood still lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of living"Carlisle tells them
Carlisle than steps back so Jasper can speak. Bella let go of me and pushed me towards Carlisle. Carlisle caught me and held me protectively.
"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. A human army can't stand against them. The two most important things are first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And the second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose. Emmett!"Jasper calls out
Emmett and Jasper walked into the field. Carlisle moved me next to Bella so I was out of the way.
"Don't hold back"Jasper tells Emmett
"Not in my nature"Emmett says
Emmett charged at Jasper while Jasper prepared to defend himself. Jasper was then thrown but got straight up, and headed to Emmett through the fog of dirt. Emmett went to hit Jasper, but Jasper threw him to the ground.
"Never lose focus"Jasper tells him
Next up was Carlisle and Edward. I smirked at Bella.
"Five bucks if Carlisle beats Edward"I said to Bella
"You're on"Bella says
Carlisle nodded his head to Edward gesturing for him to attack. Edward and Carlisle ran at each other. Edward went to jump kick Carlisle, but Carlisle slid under his body. Edward then ran at Carlisle and threw him to the ground. Edward looked at Jasper.
"Ha! Give me!"Bella says
"One more thing!"Jasper starts
Carlisle then grabbed Edward and threw him onto the ground. I laughed as Bella handed me five bucks.
"Never lose focus"Jasper tells them
Next was Jasper and Rosalie. Jasper made a 'come at me' gesture to her. Rosalie went to punch him but he dodged it. Jasper then made a move causing Rosalie to spin in the air, gracefully might I add, and landed on the ground with one of her legs out. She looked like a cat.
Alice then walked over to Jasper. They made flirty looks to each other before fighting. Alice was dodging all of Jasper's attacks. Carlisle said she was very agile so she was very fast at it. Jasper went to kiss and Alice went away. Jasper looked around for her only for Alice to land on his shoulders and kissed his cheek.
They were so cute. Probably way more cute than me and Carlisle. The wolves then left as Bella followed Jasper. Carlisle walked over to me and hugged me close to him. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.
"Are you going to fight in the battle?"Carlisle asks me
"I don't know. I want to but also don't"I told him
"Well, you will have to think about it because we don't have long before this fight, "Carlisle tells me
"I know. I am worried"I said
"What are you worried about?"Carlisle asks
"I'm worried that something bad will happen to you, the kids, Esme and Daniel, the pack, Bella. I'm worried about everyone. I don't want you guys to get hurt"I said looking down
"Hey look at me"Carlisle says
I looked up at him. Brown eyes meeting gold eyes.
"We will all be ok. I won't let anything happen to any of us. I promise"Carlisle tells me
"You can't promise that. You'll never know what happens when it actually does or not."I said
"We can have hope"Carlisle says
I smiled at him before kissing him. Carlisle held me close as I pull away.
"And once this battle is over. We have to start decorating for Bella's wedding"Carlisle says
"Can't believe my sister is getting married"I said
"She is happy with him"Carlisle says
I looked up and saw Bella with Edward. They were hugging each other tightly which made me smile. She was happy and so am I.
