"Anyway, I'm excited to see how it came out." She grinned cutely, taking my heart away.
"So am I." I smiled along.
Soon, we finished having lunch and now it's time to return. Everyone's heading towards a jewellery shop since Shubman and Anushree still have to buy their engagement rings.
Riya, Samikhya, Ishan and I left in my car again, whereas the others are with Shubman.
"Wow, the collection here is so good." Riya admired the jewellery set while roaming around in the shop.
Females and their jewellery obsession are something I can never understand. However, its true that it suits them well.
"Wow, this one looks beautiful." I heard Samikhya admiring a ring Anushree had put on her finger.
My gaze fell upon her hand. Seeing that ring in her finger is making me feel so agitated, ugh.
"Abhay, this pendant looks pretty, doesn't it?" Riya asked me while laying her finger on one.
"Let's see." I mumbled while gesturing the salesgirl to take it out.
Once it surfaced, I picked it up in my hands and put it around Riya's neck. This really looks mesmerizing on her.
"What do you think?" I smiled at her while looking at our reflection in the huge mirrored walls in front of us.
Riya brought her hands to her collarbone and touched the pendant gently, before a curve formed on her lips.
"I love it." She grinned while turning her head to the side, to meet her eyes with mine.
"I do too." I added, making her blush slightly.
I haven't gifted Riya anything on her birthday, so this is gonna be a present to her from my side.
I love how she enhances the beauty of anything and everything that's on her. She can make even the simplest of things look gold, and even the highest rated ones look dull beside her. Her duality is such an irony, but I adore it anyway.
"We'll take these." I heard Shubman tell the salesperson while I was getting Riya's present packed.
Once the payments were made, we left the showroom and headed back to the market area, in order for the girls to buy the rest of their necessities.
Everyone then left in their own cars for home after a long, but exciting day. Today was very eventful and somewhat tiring too.
However, being with Riya can never go wrong for me. If I can have her presence, I don't mind enjoying looking at her for days.
She always gets my attention so effortlessly, unlike other girls. She's definitely someone out of the box.
