When Worlds Collide

Invasion Part 1

Katara and Sokka then saw Hakoda their dad get off the ship. They both ran towards him at full pace.

"You made it, Dad!" Katara exclaimed as she embraced her father happily.

"Were you able to locate everyone I told you to find?" Sokka asked.

"I did," Hakoda replied. Two members of the Foggy Swamp Tribe disembark one of the ships, "But I'm a little worried, Sokka. Some of these men aren't exactly the "warrior type"." He turns his head slightly toward the two swamp dwellers.

The two Foggy Swamp Tribe members named Tho and Due descend the wooden ramp from the ship.

Due points at a rock accusingly saying "Oooh-whee! This place ain't nothing like a swamp. What you reckon that is, Tho? Some sort of Fire Nation exploding trap what eat ya?"

Tho looking a little annoyed said, "It's just a rock, Due."

Due smiled and said, "Well, I'll be." As he scratched his head.

Hakoda turned back to his kids saying "Is it just me, or are those fellas a little loose in the leaf-hat?"

Bato walks behind Hakoda whispering "I just wish they would wear pants."

Huu stands on the dock scratching his stomach saying "Pants are an illusion, and so is death."

A pair of legs appear, boasting Earth Kingdom clothing. A voice speaks.

The man says " Hi, Katara." He says. Katara turned around to the familiar voice to see her boyfriend. Haru. He looked the same as last time. With his clean shaved face and everything. He looked like he was going to cry seeing his girlfriend after such a long time.

A tear drips down Katara's face as she stutters to say his name. "H-Haru." She rams straight over into his arms. He held her there for a second before she lifted her face allowing him to kiss her. "You were gone for too long. Don't leave me again." Katara says into his chest still crying.

Aang was talking to other people when he turned around and saw Katara with her boyfriend Haru. Aang walked over to the gaang.

"Hey, guys there is someone I want you to meet. Follow me" Aang said. They did as they were told. They walked over to where Haru and Katara and Haru were standing

"Guy, this is Haru Katara's boyfriend. When we met him, his town was controlled by the Fire Nation. So he had to hide his earthbending."

Haru kissed Katara's cheek and said "Katara inspired me and my father to take back our village." Katara blushed wildly.

Tyro walks out of the ship and lays his hands on Haru's and Katara's shoulders. "You helped us find our courage, Katara. Now we're here to help you."

"Speaking of which Haru and Allison come with us. We want you to meet our dad." Sokka and Katara said.

Allison walked up and grabbed Sokka's hand while Katara and Haru just walked next to each other.

"Hey, dad could you come here? We want you to meet some people." Sokka said.

Hakoda walked out of the ship once more and instantly understood what was happening. He knew this because Haru straightened up as he walked out. He started sweating a little as well. It also was because of how he saw Allison and Sokka holding hands and how she kind of hid behind him.

"Finally! Sokka I have been waiting for you to bring a girl to meet me. Katara you too." Hakoda said, wrapping all of them in a hug. "I'm sorry to cut this short but I need to get going and fix some things before we leave." He said as he walked off.
