"Yeah me neither," I mumbled under my breath.

"Well can I get you all something to drink? I'm sorry Maddy you never introduced these two lovely lads."

"This is Louis, and this is Liam. They're in my English class," I faked a grin as I made eye contact with the devil once again.

"Okay, can I get you anything more cutie?" She eyed Liam and put a hand on his shoulder and I glared.

"No I think we're good. Maddy do you want anything?" Liam just politely smiled, unaware of the tension between Ellie and me.

"I'll just have water please. With lemon," I smiled a genuine smile, happy to be giving Ellie orders.

"Coming right up, Madz," she smirked as she emphasized my nickname and stalked away towards the doors that must lead to the kitchen.

"God that bitch!" I exclaimed before forgetting Liam and Louis were sitting with me at the table.

"What?" Liam looked at me confused while Louis just grinned with a knowing look.

I sighed and explained to them the entire story of Ellie, and they decided they hated her as well.

"Here's your water Maddy," Ellie smiled as she held out a drink for me.

Before I could take it out of her hand, she tipped it and poured it onto the front of my thin hoodie.

I gasped in shock as the ice cold water soaked into my clothes.

"Oops," she faked a frown and set the glass down on the table. "I'll get you another one."

"You know it's ok, can we just order now?" I tried not to lose my temper as I growled at her.

"Of course," she grinned.

Liam and Louis just gaped with dropped jaws and Liam stuttered out an order for steak and a salad. Louis ordered the same, and I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. After Ellie strutted away, I slightly relaxed and began to dry my soaked sweater with all of the napkins available on the table.

"Maddy, are you sure you don't want to leave?" Liam looked concerned as he eyed my soaked top.

"Of course. I don't want to let that skank ruin my night," I slipped off the sweater and shivered.

I was only wearing a black lace tank top. I felt Liam's eyes staring at my chest and I blushed. He quickly looked away and began a conversation with Louis about Louis' new boy obsession in his first period. I realized how cold it was in the restaurant and hugged myself to try and keep warm.

"Do you want a coat?" I looked up to see Liam and Louis staring at me, and Liam began to take off his leather jacket.

I gratefully excepted it from him and as soon as I slipped it on, I zipped and buttoned it all the way, and Louis tried to stifle a laugh. I realized how ridiculous I must've looked, but I decided it was better than freezing to death. I saw Ellie walk back out from the kitchen, carrying a platter with the three of our meals on it. She first placed Liam's, then Louis', and then stopped next to me. I tried not to make eye contact and patiently waited for the plate of noodles to be set in front of me. Instead, I felt the hot dish seep through my hair and all over Liam's jacket. It fell through the space between the neck of the coat and my tank top, the marinara sauce soaking through the tank and into my bra. I felt stares from all around the restaurant, but that didn't stop me from picking up Louis' glass of bubbly champagne and throwing it right into Ellie's face. She gasped and dropped the platter, the crash grabbing the attention of the diners who weren't already watching us. A man in a suit stomped over from somewhere unknown and looked at Ellie angrily.

"What's going on, Ellie?" He questioned, staring at the mess.

"I'm so sorry, sir," I choked as Ellie turned all kind and apologetic. "This diner threw champagne on me after I accidentally spilled her dish on her. I wouldn't have spilled it if she didn't push me when I messed up her order."

"What?!" I pushed my chair and back and walked right up to Ellie, glaring right into her face. "You lying bitch!"

"Don't talk to my employees that way," the old man stepped in front of her and pointed at the door. "If the three of you can't politely make your way out of my restaurant, I will have security escort you out after I call the police."

"But sir, that's not what happened," Liam and Louis tried to argue as they walked over to me.

"No buts, do I really need to call security?" His threatening tone made me flinch and I obeyed.

I dragged Louis behind me while he was cursing repeatedly at the old man in the suit. Liam grabbed our bags and walked in front of me towards the exit.

"Your food tasted like shit anyways!" Louis screamed one last insult before the door shut behind us.

He held the middle finger up for everyone to see before the door finally closed, and we were left standing in the pouring rain.

"Woah," Louis breathed out as he stared at me for a couple of seconds before bursting into laughter. "That was epic."

Liam and I eventually joined him, and Louis waved his hand at a taxi driving past. It slowed a little ahead of where we were, and we rushed giggling to the shelter of the backseat of the yellow car. We piled inside, and I gave the driver the address to my apartment.

"Oops," Louis smirked, mocking Ellie as we replayed the scene from dinner while laughing our asses off.

The driver stopped in front of my building, and I pulled out my wallet to pay him. Liam pushed my hand away, insisting on paying for it himself. I obliged, too exhausted to argue about it. We quietly walked towards the entrance of the building, pressed together in effort to keep warm. I felt Liam's hand slip into mine as he pushed open the door, and I didn't pull away. When we stepped into the elevator, Louis peered down at our intertwined fingers and smiled. I reached forward with my empty hand to press the button for floor eleven, and water spilled out from the jacket sleeve.

"Oops," I mumbled to no one in particular.

Liam let go of my hand to let me gently slide the jacket off. Although I was careful, water still spilled out from the other sleeve and the pockets. Louis laughed at me but shrieked when I flicked some of the water towards him. Liam snickered and I threw the jacket at him. He just laughed and caught it with one hand. I anxiously waited for the elevator to reach my floor so I could take a hot shower and save myself from hypothermia. When the doors opened, I sprinted down the hallway to my room. Louis and Liam jogged after me. I unlocked the door to apartment 11-47 and beckoned for the two to join me. We took our shoes off by the door, and I made Louis and Liam hang up their coats. I heard the TV coming from the living room, and I entered to see Carolyn alone on the couch yelling at the television.

"JUST KISS HIM DEAN! DO IT!," she screamed and pointed her finger at the screen.

I laughed and she jumped in surprise.

"You're a mess," she burst out laughing at the sight of me and I rolled my eyes.

"Where is everyone?"

"Um Calum went back to his place with Michael and Ashton, Luke and Sam are actually sleeping because they have to get up early for their flight tomorrow, Niall and Addy still haven't returned and I'm starting to think they've planned to elope," she answered me as she turned her focus back to Supernatural.

"What about Harry?" I asked, only hoping a little bit that he was still here.

"Oh..." she glanced apologetically at me. "He stormed back in here minutes after you two left and threw a key to our apartment at me. Then he left again without a word."
