Chapter 6: Coming home

Ivar's POV-

I'm walking with Katia in Olegs Palace, I look at her and all I see is Freydis, the love that I lost

I see Hvitserk come towards me with an angry expression "HOW DARE YOU FUCK THIS WOMAN WHEN YOU HAVE A WIFE AT HOME, A WIFE THAT IS TAKING CARE OF YOUR KINGDOM WHILE YOU ARE OVER HERE SCREWING THIS WHORE"

Katia starts to laugh "If anyone's a whore it is Swahili, she's a whiny bitch, god she's just as bad as that father of hers"

I stare at her as reality sets in, I've cheated on my wife, and I told her that she'd be the only one that I'd be faithful to, that I wouldn't cheat on her

Oh no what have I done, WHAT HAVE I DONE

She'll never forgive me, she might even up and leave me just like lagertha did to my father

No that can't happen

Hvitserk tries to attack Katia but Ubbe comes out of nowhere and pulls him back

I look behind Ubbe to see Oleg he comes over

"So why haven't you told me that you were married to Swahili" I look at him strange how does he know her, how does Katia know her

I glare at him "we are still married" he snorts "not after what you've done, I know Swahili, and I know that she doesn't like to share her belongings, maybe that's changed since we were children but then again maybe not"

I look shocked "you both knew Swahili"

They nod but Katia scoffs while Oleg glares at her

I wonder what happened between them

"Well we did but Katia, of course, had to be a spoilt jealous brat, and that's what made her leave, and that broke our alliance with them, originally I and Swahili were supposed to get married but you know I'll let her tell you what happened" I turn to Katia "what did you say to her" she starts to laugh "well I told her she looked like shit quite literally and I got my older brothers to beat her up, they cracked a few ribs, busted her lip real good, but the Whiny bitch had to go and tell her father"

Oleg glares at her with a look that could kill

Does he still have feelings towards Swahili

Oleg gulps and stares at me with a look I've never seen on him before, fear, "you don't want to be on her father's bad side, I've seen it first hand and it's bad, he might seem like a nice man, but once you cross him, you're lucky to escape with your life"

I look towards Hvitserk "I'd like to go home to my wife and explain everything to her before somebody else tells her"

As I turn to leave I fail to see Katia smirk

Oh no, no, no, no what have I done

And as my soldiers load the boat I get a sense of dread

Swahili's POV-

I sit in bed going over what I could've done wrong

Maybe I was too emotional, or maybe it was the fact that I couldn't speak his language, or maybe I just wasn't good enough

I don't... I don't know what I did wrong

I hear a horn sounded as people run to the docks in excitement

I hear a knock on the door I don't even look up Asger runs in and jumps on the bed beside me but not before stepping accidentally on RA's tail

He growls in discomfort, Asger cuddles beside me
