Lana found herself looking into the mirror while she freshened up.
She took took a few deep breaths.
She reapplied her bright lipstick and tousled her hair a bit then heading back into the party.













Billy was gone and she felt herself frowning.
But soon after Steve came up behind her.














"Looking for someone?"
Steve muttered and she looked behind her seeing him.














"Uh, No. Just watching the party."
Lana said back casually and He scoffed at her.














"What?"
She asked him














"Everyone saw you and Billy."
Steve muttered














Lana didn't realize it was that big of a deal.














"Okay, and? We were just dancing."









Steve rolled his eyes and chugged his drink.














"I need another."
He muttered passing by Lana.














Was Steve jealous?
She watched as he faded into the crowd.
She sighed seeing people dancing around, laughing and smiling.














They had no idea what was out there.
Lana felt she was living a double life.

Lana quickly repressed her feelings and chugged the rest of her drink, feeling it burn her throat

She poured her drink looking over at him.













"Why are you acting so bummed?"
Steve sighed and looked at Lana.














"You really don't have a clue do you? Do you not even know your own body and mind?"
He asked while She looked at him strangely.














"Steve, I don't get it."
Lana replied as he chuckled bitterly.














"Hargrove, Lana."
Steve muttered annoyed.
She just stared back at him.
