Crashing The Party

I climbed out of the nearby window and quickly blended into the crowd. I swiped a mask that had been discarded onto the ground. No one saw me leave and no one was supposed to be coming in the room so I was free for about a hour and fifteen minutes. I plan to use it to my advantage.

I just walked around among the busy crowd and the people passing by. I see couples walking around while I watch games being played and prizes being won then given to the mates. I cringe at all the posters with my face which was from the announcement. I had been so upset at suddenly being thrown into the light that it was not the best picture of me. What is the point in being a higher up when it's all the regular people having fun? I feel envy at all of the higher ups as I walk among the regulars and I saw a roller coaster. I have always wanted to do a roller coaster, but I could never afford to get into the fair back home and it was no where near as amazing as this. I stood in line happy that it was free admissions. I waited in line when I saw something that made me nervous. The ride seemed to be for couples only and they were making people take off their masks. With all the security and my poster on nearly every wall not covered by hearts I will be taken right back to that room before I even got any fun.

"You in need of assistance?" I looked next to me seeing a guy who had stood next to me now and was in his forties at least with purple attire and purple dyed hair and eyes that seemed to glow snake like. "Ummm?" I said confused and cautious with what has been happening lately. "I am also without a mate and want to have fun. I can tell your in the same position why don't we go on just for a moment?" He asked his voice had a smooth British tint to it. I really wanted to have some fun and I suppose it won't hurt for a moment. I shrugged and nodded my head. "Why not," I said. Once we got to the front of the line I convinced them to let me keep the mask on because I had a embarrassing rash and did not want people to stare. The guy helped me out and I was finding it weird people believed we were actually mates, though we got weird looks.

I ignored it though and I loved going on the coaster it was so much fun!

I came off and I was high on adrenaline. I expected the guy to leave after with a quick thanks, but he then insisted that we played a carnival game. I was very unsure about that because the games did not need mates.

"I'm good in fact I think I should go looking for my mate," I said trying to disappear into the crowd, but he was insistent. Than I realized he was staring at my neck. Shit Cole said the scent was going to get stronger and people would start wanting to claim me mate or not. The guy saw my panic and said. "Oh come with me I would love to have another male in my collection I have started. You could be the perfect one for showing off to others in my pack," He said his voice still British and smug. I did not understand what that meant, but it sent shivers down my spine. He grabbed my arm, but I kicked him in the guts and tripped him over before quickly disappearing into the crowd. I saw a couple by a bench making out and the guy had taken off his mask and coat. I quickly go over grabbing both items and ditching my own. I turned and saw that guy looking around trying to sniff me out, but with mine covered and all the other scents he huffs and straightened his blazer as I took deep breaths to calm down. I had just gotten my breathing under control when suddenly.

"Hello this is a announcement that Alpha Cole will be making his speech in twenty-five minutes"

Shit that line must have been longer than I had thought. I quickly headed back to the stage sneaking past the guards was hard, but it was worth the time I had spent doing that training with the old guy. When I came to the window of the room though I saw people in it.

"Where is the spinjitzu Luna? They are the only one left to nab," The guy said.

Only one left? What is that supposed to mean?
