"DEAD?!"
Evanora immediately ended up next to Dumbledore.
"You have no proof! You can't declare someone dead without a body!"
Snape made his way on stage and held back Evanora.
"Sweetheart just come down-"
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!"
"We saw his body with our own eyes Miss Snape-"
"You're bloody lying!"
"Evanora come with me sweetheart. Come on"
Snape slowly pulled her down the stage.
"I ca- I can't do this"
She ran out of the great hall, with Pansy, Blaise, Ginny, Ron, Harry, Luna, Hermione, Fred, and George behind her. They made it to the common room and saw her. She was on the floor, her face buried in her hands and sobbing uncontrollably.
"H-he's g-gone"
They slowly made their way towards her. Pansy and Ginny sat next to her.
"H-he's gone. A-and h-he's not c-coming back"
She began to cry harder. Many of the others were also crying. Fred and George both hugged her as she cried into George's chest. Slowly they all sat down. All Evanora could remember was what Draco had said to her.
I promise I'll never leave you baby
She whispered.
"He promised"
"What did he promise?"
"He promised he'd never leave me and he did!"
She continued sobbing. Snape made his way into the room.
"Sweetheart come here"
"D-dad"
Her dad hugged her and stroked her hair gently.
"D-dad h-he's gone. D-dad I-it h-hurts"
"I know sweetheart I know"
"P-please m-make I-it g-go a-away d-dad I n-need h-him"
"I know sweetheart"
"I c-cant do this w-without him d-dad"
"Yes you can sweetheart you're the strongest person I know"
Evanora slowly drifted off to sleep in her dad's arms.
"She's in a fragile state. We all are"
"Yes but we lost one of our best friends. She lost the love of her life, she's allowed to be more upset"
Hermione said.
"I can't believe he's gone"
Blaise said with tears stinging at his eyes.
"She might turn off her emotions. We can't let that happen."
"Well how do we stop her from doing that?"
"We just can't say anything that might make her pain worse. That's all. Just try and keep other people away from her for now"
"That can't be too hard."
Evanora's eyes slowly opened. She moved off her dad.
"Are you ok honey?"
Pansy asked.
"I'm fine. Obviously this is just a lie. They have no proof that he's dead, so he can't be dead."
She got up.
"I'm going to get some food, anyone want to join?"
"How about I go get food, stay here with your friends."
Everyone looked at eachother.
"Honey I don't want to hurt you any more, but you have to accept that Draco is dead. He's not going to come back"
"Well I don't see any proof. So I don't believe it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going up to my room"
Evanora went up to her room.
"We need to figure this out. She can't deny it forever."
Hermione said.
"I can try and get Dumbledore to give the the photos of his body"
Harry went off to find Dumbledore.
"I'm gonna go make sure she's actually in her room"
Ginny made her way up the stairs.
"Evanora?"
"I told you I wanted to be alone"
"I know. I just came to check on you"
"I'm fine"
Just then a letter flew into her window. Ginny grabbed it.
"Hey! That's mine!"
"I know. Let's open it with everyone else, maybe it's important"
The girls made their way downstairs. Everyone was crying.
"What are we looking at?"
Evanora looked at the photo of Draco's dead body.
"Th-that's-"
"Its him honey. I'm so sorry"
Pansy turned and hugged Evanora, who was crying.
"We got a letter"
Ginny said.
"Could be important. Let's open it."
They all sat down. Evanora opened the letter. It was multiple pictures of Draco while he was being tortured in the cave. On the bottom it read
"You're next Evanora"
Evanora dropped the letter at the sight of Draco.
"I c-cant do it."
"Yes you-"
"NO I CAN'T!"
She cried harder and harder as she slowly sunk down onto the ground. Everyone slowly sat with her. She cried and cried and she couldn't stop.
Just turn it off
No I can't! That would ruin everything

"I'm gonna turn it off"
"No Evanora you can't"
"Yes I can and I am. I can't do this without him"
Just then Snape walked in.
"She's gonna turn it off"
"It hurts. I feel like I don't want to live anymore."
"Sweetheart how about you go and take a nap. Maybe once you wake up we can talk about this"
She slowly made her way upstairs.
"This is bad. She is ruthless without her emotions."
"We just need to try and make her feel better"
After about an hour, they heard a loud crash upstairs. They all ran up to see what happened. Evanora was leaning against her mini fridge, which had fallen over. Empty bloodbags were scattered around the room and Evanora was sitting there drinking up the last one.
"What the hell happened to her?"
"Oh hey guys"
"Evanora what is going on?"
"Aren't you supposed to be smart Hermione? I'm drinking blood"
Hermione whispered.
"What is happening?"
"No need to whisper guys I can still hear you."
She stood up and made her way towards the group.
"I turned it off"
She pushed past them and walked off.
