Jade's POV
I took out my book that I read during breakfast to check it again seeing if I miss some pages. Flipping through the pages I suddenly stopped when I saw the drawings in the book. It drew Mulan carrying a baby holding a hair comb in the baby's hands. It's funny. That baby looks very familiar to me. It's like I know this baby somehow. More interesting, it's that I often dreamt about Disney movies, even some of them I never watched it before. Thoughts are interrupted when my mom called me.
"Honey? Did you hear us what we're talking?" My mom asked. "You know your homeroom number, right?" My dad asked me.
I growled and annoyingly replied. "Yes." And went back to reading To be honest, I'm not so happy about it.
You see, my parents and I had been moving from Traverse to another city called Destiny Star. I was taken to Radiant High School by my parents. However, I don't like the idea of transferring to a new school. Why you asked? Here's the answer.
"Oh Come on, Princess. I know it's tough starting a new school but I'm sure you'll fit right in." My dad reassured me.
"Mom! Dad! You guys making me move in the middle of high school! We've been bounced around from for three times. I'm fine with Traverse city and I was right finally FINALLY fitting right in to finding my tea... Uh my group."
"Your group?" Dad asked.
"Yeah! You know my pack, my crew, my try, my..."
"No no no, honey. Your connection. Your connection." My mom tells me as I went back my seat.
"My team." I whispered sadly.
Serena's POV
I was in the car, my mom is driving while I'm reading a new book I bought before I moved a few weeks ago. I quickly finished reading the book and closed it and put it into my bag.
Today, my mom drives me crazy. She tricked that I'm actually late for the first day of school, and I got my ass hurts. It was such a big pain in the ass.
I put my right hand on my right cheek, looked at the door's window and groaned that I'm not in my old city.
Just so you know my appearance, I'm a hazel brown hair in a pair of buns that it's wrapped around with two rubber bands making a cross left a little strands in my hair, with three small pink spheres at the bottom. My outfit is colors are rich maroon and purple, with hints of black and to finish it up.
Like Jade, my mom and I had been moving from Traverse to another city called Destiny Star. I was taken to Radiant High School by my parents. And I don't like the idea of transferring to a new school either.
"Oh come on Serena. I understand you don't feel happy about moving but I'm sure you'll get used to it." My mom reassured me.
"But mom, I just don't understand why do we really have to move. I love Traverse city." I questioned her.
"I told you before. I got a job in this city and we have to move to another city. I know it's tough to leave our beloved city but think about the expectations. You can make new friends, join clubs or... go to the library see if they have any books. Fate may have a good reason to led us this place. Who knows? Maybe something big would happened in your hands and you'll realised that it's not as bad as you thought. You might make your dreams come true as well."
I sighed. "My dreams."
My dreams. I always often a bookworm. I would go to the library and borrowed books or bought books that I'm interested in but don't underestimate me. Though I'm a bookworm, I'm sometimes very aggressive, stubborn and extremely impatient as well. If someone or something that annoys me. I can be badass sometimes, people sees me as a bookworm but I can my wild colours as well. My dream is to go on an adventure, I wanted something big happen instead of stuck here with books.
UNPOV
Serena's mom and Jade's dad stopped the car at the same time on outside the high school. Serena and Jade took their bags, got out of their own car and closed the door.
"Ah Here it is! Radiant High!" Jade's mom said. "Beautiful." Jade's dad complimented.
"Oh don't worry, Princess. I'm sure you'll find your connection." Jade's dad reassured his daughter before drove off.
Jade sighed, looked back at the book she's holding and put back to her pack bag and starts walking towards the school.
On Serena's side
"Don't worry Serena. I'm sure you'll find new friends. Love you bye." Serena's mom reassured her daughter before drove off.
Serena sighed before she took out her school schedule paper from her bag. She sighed. "Let's hope this day be better." Before starts walking.
Serena and Jade walking at the same time but Jade walked faster than Serena. Just Jade was about to walk inside the school her book that she read this morning fell down to the ground and Jade didn't notice it.
Serena noticed that Jade's book fell. She picked up the book and called Jade and that's how they met each other. "Hey! Excuse me! You dropped this!"
Jade turns her head and saw Serena holding her book. She turned back to Serena before she get back her book and said. "Oh thank you so much!"
"No problem." Serena replied. She can sensed that it's Jade's first day as well. So does Jade.
"I'm Jade." Jade introduced herself.
"Serena." Serena said her name.
"Is this your another first day of school here?" Jade asked her.
"Nah. It's my first day of school here. My mom and I moved here not long." Serena answered.
"No way. Me too. My parents and I moved here not long too. Must be not happy about moving here instead of staying in your old town right?" Jade began talking to Serena and walking.
"Yep. I didn't want to move but my mom found a job that's perfect here in this place and I have no choice but to move to another city." Serena replied.
"Me too. By the way which class are you?" Jade asked her again.
"2B." Serena answered.
"No way. I'm 2B as well." said Jade.
"Well then, it's nice to meet you classmate." Serena welcomed her.
"You too, classmate." Jade welcomed Serena as well before fist bump.
They really have so much in common. They both study well, have every same interests except sports.
After School
"Hey I have a question I wanted to asked." Said Serena.
"And what is it?" Jade asked.
"Where did get this book? I read many books but I've never seen this one before." Serena questioned her.
"Well I had it when I was a kid. I never read it until now. I finished the book but it's strange." Jade answered.
"What do you mean?" Serena asked.
"Well I read the book and it's only written in ONE page. Weird right? I tried to find other pages to see if I'm missing something but no I didn't." Jade replied.
"How about we find a seat and then we see what is going on with your book?" Serena suggest and Jade nodded.
Eventually, they found a seat that is very hidden. They sat down and began to investigate. Serena took the book and start flipping through the pages, her eyes widened of the words that the book written. "Wow holy sh*t! I never seen a book that have so many pages but only wrote one page!"
"I know. Weird right? This a book it's like nothing but a diary. I wondered why my parents kept this book for years?" Jade said. Serena flipped the book into middle and found some words that kind of looks like riddles in the pages between.
"Hey Jade. Look at this." Serena calls Jade. Jade turned her head to the book and saw the words in the book. "Whoa what are these? I haven't seen this before." Jade exclaimed.
"Let's read it together." Serena suggested, Jade nodded and start.

After finish reading, a light shining very bright and then the book began to float. They gasped. "WHat the- the book... It's floating!" Jade stated.
The book's light divides into 9 pieces of lights and flew across to other places. Then another light glows again, suddenly a creature coming out of the book. It's Mushu, came out of the book and fell down to the ground. "Aw..."
"INCOMING!!!" Someone yells before a puppy came out of the book and accidentally headbutted with Serena. "OUCH!!! THAT hurts!!!" Serena snapped.
"Aw man. Took me years to trying to find the princess and all the price I have is a full face fell into the ground!" Mushu stated. "And now let's see- ... Ming Fa?" Mushu looking at Jade in surprise. "Serena?" The puppy asked Serena.
"What the Disney and Fairy Tale?" They looked at the creatures in surprise.
