yoongi and jimin were on the couch, watching a cartoon that the younger picked. they were waiting for the doctor. about 15 minutes later a few sock knocks were had at the door, startling jimin.
"you're okay jiminie, just the doctor."
yoongi patted the other boys thighs before getting up to answer the door, jimin followed behind him.
"good evening boys! i heard we have a wrist injury."
yoongi spoke up for the younger.
"yes ma'am, he slipped getting out of the shower and landed on it. he said it really hurts."
"alright, i'll take a look at it, you both can have a seat at the table."
yoongi and jimin walked over to the table, yoongi had his hand on the smallers back.
"i'm just gonna take a look at it, okay?"
"o-okay, it hurts a lot..", jimin had tears in his eyes.
the elder took the youngers free hand and ran his thumb across it, signaling to him that his hyung was right there. not to worry.
"well it looks like it's just a slight sprain! i thought that's what it would be so i brought a brace with me. just wear it for at least 8 hours a day for 5-7 days and you should be fine in no time! and pain killers as you need them, alright?"
jimin just nodded.
"thank you ma'am, i really appreciate you coming out."
"it was no problem at all, call me if anything happens or it gets worse."
"of course, thank you again."
and with that the doctor was on her way out. yoongi walked her to the door and then turned around to see jimin trying to put the brace on.
"let hyung do it, i'll be gentle, i promise."
jimin didn't say a word and just handed the brace to yoongi.
as carefully as he could, he put the brace on the boys smaller wrist and tightened it without hurting the boy.
"would you like some medicine for the pain, min?"
"yes pease..", he had such a sad expression on his face.
quickly yoongi grabbed some from the bathroom and handed jimin two pills with a cup of water. the younger took them and gave the cup back to yoongi.
"good boy, jimin."
what?
jimin has been wanting to hear those words from his hyung for forever!
"thank you, daddy!!"
there's that word again. jimin was deep in headspace and didn't realize what he said, again.
yoongi just ruffled his hair and smiled at him.
"why don't we go to bed now, hm?"
"mhm, good idea! 'm sleepy!"
jimin got into his bed and noticed his stuffed cat wasn't there.
"wheres yoongles??"
"huh? i-i'm right here jimin-ah"
"no hyung not you! my kitty..", he said with a pout.
yoongi was taken aback for a second. did jimin really name the stuffie he got him, after him?
cute.
yoongi spotted the cat on the floor and picked him up.
"here he is."
jimin gasped with excited.
"thank you, thank you!"
"it's no problem, jiminie. time for bed now."
"okay, goodnight hyung, sleep well! i love you~!"
jimin said he loved him before he went to bed. he doesn't normally say that..
"goodnight min, love you too..."
yoongi never says that, he didn't know what the hell was wrong with him.
before yoongi shut the big light off, jimin turned on his cat shaped night lamp. the younger decided not to use his pacifier tonight and rolled over and fell asleep. the older turned his phone brightness all the down and decided to do some searching.
why did my friend call me daddy?

why does someone sleep with a stuffed animal every night?
the first two searches didn't bring anything up except the daddy kink and people being immature. but the third search brought of something interesting. little space.
he clicked on the link which led him to a tumblr post.
little space is when a person enjoys acting a younger age than what they technically are! often times using binkies and loving stuffed animals!
that's cute. yoongi thought. could jimin have a little space maybe? he continued to read the post.
many littles refer to their partner as daddy or mommy, and they depend on them as a parental figure in the relationship.
is that why jimin called yoongi daddy? because he was looking out for the boy and taking care of him?
as yoongi kept reading he was starting to understand the whole little space thing. he thought it was absolutely adorable. now that he thought about it, it made perfect sense.
the elder didn't want to just straight up ask jimin if he was a little, because he knew he'd be very shy and embarrassed. so he clicked on another post that read, how to care for a little!
be gentle, kind, and understanding.

help them do things like tying shoes and eating.
instead of embarrassing the boy and asking him about this, he would just try to see if he could care for him. he wanted to see if he could make jimin slip into headspace around him, just to confirm it.
it was getting late so yoongi decided to finally sleep, still having jimin and little space on his mind.
tomorrow was monday, meaning they had practice all day, but they would be free after dinner. so yoongi would try his best to baby him, and make him slip.
what the elder didn't know, is that he caused jimin to slip all the time.
~the next morning
it was around 7am and namjoon started to wake up all the boys, going room by room.
he started in his own room kindly waking up his jin-hyung and screaming at hoseok to wake up.
next was gguk and tae.
"jeongguk, taehyung, time to wake up!"
the two just groaned before rolling over. they would get up five minutes later.
finally it was yoongi and jimin's room.
"hey come on guys, time to rise and shine."
yoongi almost cussed him out while jimin sat up rubbing his eyes. today was gonna be a long day. they had practice in the morning, and then a music video shoot after lunch.
"min?"
"yes?"
"just remember to be careful with your wrist all right? wear the brace when you're not filming, to help it heal."
"i will, thank you yoongi-hyung!"
"it's no problem, i'll also bring some pain medicine, incase it starts to bother you."
jimin smiled at this. his hyung really did care about him.
all seven were finally awake and sat and ate breakfast together. their mangers got them waffles with eggs, since they wouldn't have time to cook today.
by 8am they were in the practice rooms working their butts off. then lunch came
and their mangers brought more food. it was time for the shoot! jimin was nervous, and yoongi could tell.
"hey jimin-ah, don't sweat it, you're gonna do amazing. i just know it."
"thank you, hyung!", jimin gave him a hug and was feeling better about his scene.
finally the day was over, and the managers and staff rewarded them with a giant feast for working so hard today. they had all of their favorite foods.
once they got back home all the boys were very tired. they all took showers and pretty much went straight to bed.
jimin had just gotten out of the shower, carefully this time, and had gotten changed into some pajamas. yoongi was done quite some time ago but was waiting for the younger. he wanted to see if he could make him slip.
jimin walked out of the bathroom and went to lay on his bed. yoongi walked over shortly after.
"you ready for bed minnie?"
yoongi was starting to pull the covers over the younger.
"u-uh yeah hyung i'm ready..", what the hell was yoongi doing?
"you brushed your teeth, right?"
"yes hyung, i did.", he smiled to the elder as proof.
"what a good boy, and what a cute smile."
oh no, jimin could feel himself slipping.
"you have yoongles, right? he would be sad to sleep without you, you know."
"i have him! see?"
jimin held the stuffed cat up to yoongi, proud that he didn't lose him like last night.
yoongi pet the stuffed cat and proceeded to talk with the cat.
"protect my jimin when he sleeps, okay? we can't let anything happen to him."
jimin was giggling and was feeling smaller and smaller by the second.
"alright when time for sleep, let me turn your cat light on for you, bubs."
jimin melted at the pet name. he was so itty bitty right now.
"there you go, all tucked in and ready, right?"
"mhm! thank you!!"
"you're welcome minnie, daddy loves you."
jimin gasped, he was so happy.
"goodnight daddy! minnie loves you more!"
bingo.
"goodnight baby."
