I was throwing my pill bottles in the trash when there was a knock at my door.
"It's me" True said from the other side of my door
"Come in" I said as I continued to throw each of them in my trash bin
"What is you doing?" She asked flopping on my bed
"Cleaning my dresser off" I said
"You wanna take me to the mall?" She asked smiling big
"Ain't you on punishment?" I asked
"Omg Saigeeeeaaaa don't worry about that. I just wanna go get some stuff" she dragged
"Smoke is not about to whoop my ass because of you. Tuh" I said
"He don't even gotta know. Yo grandfava just finished smoking and you know he gon be sleep for a brick" she said
I guess, why not.
"Ard be ready in 20 minutes"
She raced out of my room and I changed into some black biker shorts and a red hoodie since I took my shower this morning.
I grabbed my wallet and keys and walked downstairs. Pop was sitting there with his dirty m bestfriend Racks talking but stopped when they seen me.
"Well, well, well if it isn't the opp" Racks said making me scrunch up my face
"She ain't no fucking opp slim. Fuck is you on?" Pop said scrunching up his face
"She know what I'm talkin' about" he said
"what are you talking about? I-I'm not a opp" I said confused
"Yo lil boyfriend 30 lil brother ain't he?" He said and I nodded
"Yeah so? What does that— you deadass?" Pop cut me off and asked
"Yeah..." I trailed off
"Ard I'm ready" True said walking in the living room
"Byeeeee" I said quickly exiting the house and We walked to the drive way and got inside my car.
"Which mall?" I asked backing out
"Tanger"

"Round 51st wit TJ from school" he said
"Be careful over there" I said

"I'm good sis. look" Zy said turning the camera around
Honestly TJ cool peoples but I don't know him all like that. I don't know what he into for real.
"Ard well call me if you need anything" I said

We hung up and I looked around for True. I went to the food court to get something to drink and she wandered off.
I walked out the food court and to the last store we were in. I seen her at the cash register flirting with the register. Dude had to be at least 21 years old.
"Umm we gotta go" I said interrupting their conversation
"Damn you don't see us talking?" He said mugging me
"I-I was talking t-to my sister. Let's go" I said
"Ard bye Trey. Ima call you later. I love you" she said rolling her eyes at me then smiling at him
"Ard shorty" he said winking at her
We left and walked out the mall and back to my car. I put my few bags in the back and got in and started driving back home.
"Who was that?" I asked
"Who Trey? That's my lil boo" she said blushing
"How old his he?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows
"Ughh Princess do it really matter? He only 21"
"Only 21? Girl your 15. That's not okay" I said scrunching my face up
"Wait is this the same one Smoke beat your ass about?" I asked and she nodded her head
"So you lied to me? You made me drive you here to meet him when you know you wasn't supposed to?" I said
"It's not even like that"
"Nah I see" I said shaking my head
I try to be a nice big sister and take her out when I know I could possibly get in trouble too. Never again.
We pulled up at the house and it was a big ass haul just sitting infront of Mr. Blake's house but I didn't pay no mind to it.
"Oh shit his car right there" She said referring to Smokes truck
"Welp I'll see you later I gotta go" I said sucking in air through my teeth
"What? You gon make me go in there by myself?!" She said
"You wanted to go to the mall? Hurry up I gotta go" I said looking at the time
She slowly got out and soon as I seen someone open the door I pulled off. I drove back in Dc and to Chelly house. I texted her that I was outside and she quickly came out.
"Bitch I could not stand another second in that fucking house with them pissy ass kids" she said shaking her head
"Like who 13 and still pissing in the bed" she added
"Oh hell Nah" I said laughing
She pulled out some weed and started rolling up. I always wanted to smoke but couldn't because of my medication.
"Wassup with you and Uzi ugly ass. Had me arguing with bitches under that post" she said
"He really changed bruh. Like I don't even know who he is anymore." I said shaking my head while trying not to cry
"Saige please don't cry.
"You know what Ima say. Leave dat nigga" she said
"You know I can't do that" I said and she sighed understanding
I don't think I could be friends with him after this but I wouldn't be able to deal with him not being in my life anymore.
"I don't want him mistreating you. He knows what you goin through and I'm not about to watch him do shit to you. Next time I see him we gon have a talk" she said lighting her Jay
"Can I try?" I asked
"Girl you know you cannot be smoking" she said smacking her teeth
"I'm not on medication no more. I haven't taken it in like a week"
"What? You feeling alright?" She asked looking over my body. Especially my arms
"Yea. I actually feel okay" I said shrugging
"Alright here" she said passing it to me
She coached me on what to doo and soon as i inhaled I started coughing hard as hell. She handed me a water bottle and started dying laughing
"Gimme my shit back baby lungs" she said
We sat out infront of her house for about 3 more hours and it was now like 7 but still light outside since it's about to be summer soon.

I pulled up in my driveway and seen movers taking stuff out of Mr. Blake's house. My eyebrows furrowed as I got out my car.
"Mr. Blake what's going on? You moving?" I asked as I walked up to his yard where he was standing and watching the movers
"Oh no sweetheart just moving some stuff into storage. I have to make some room for my grandson" he said
"Grandson?" I said confused
"Yes, you remember Sidney right?" He asked
"Yeah I though he moved to a different state?"
"He did but you know I'm getting to old and my daughter don't want me home by myself anymore so he's coming to live with me for a little while since he got into a little trouble down Louisiana " he explained
"Oh I see" I mumbled
"Speaking of the devil... there he go right there" he said as I turned my head to see a tall figure walking up
"Wassam Pawpaw" A Louisiana accent spoke
"Good to see you son" he said as they both hugged eachother
"Who li shawty?" He asked looking at me
I finally looked up and realized this the same boy from my job a couple days ago.
"Now son I know you remember little Saige. This used to be you and Sarah's best friend when y'all was young" Mr. Blake said
"Oh" he said looking down at me then looking around unfazed
Damn he looks so different. He had a couple scars on his face but the same pretty hazel eyes. I thought maybe he would be happy to see me
"Maybe you can show him around Princess?" Mr Blake said raising his eyebrow
"W-well I don't think I ha— nah I got better shit to do then hang around some li ass girl" he said cutting me off
Well damn...
"Boy don't make me whoop you ass"
"B-bye mr Blake" I said and walked away
I felt eyes on me but I just kept walking in the house. Smokes car wasn't here so I won't get cussed out.
